I was overwhelmed with anger. I didn't know why. It's not like I loved her. I've only kissed her once. That should've been it, shouldn't it? I wanted to claim her as mine and she wanted me to.
"Why didn't I fucking open myself up to her like she asked?" I growled throwing furniture around my room.
"Trouble in paradise?"
Sebastian stood at the entry way of my door leaning against the wall. He smirked as he saw the broken wood chair on the ground.
"Who is it?" he asked
"What?"
"Who is it that's got your knickers in a twist?"
"Serenity." I answered truthfully
It shouldn't matter if I told him. He doesn't even know her. He only got here a few hours ago.
"You? Serenity?" he asked
"She's the woman with the wavy black hair and beautiful green eyes." I explained
"I know who she is. We were engaged."
"Engaged? But you're a half-breed. Wouldn't you have to carry on the mer-trait? Why would you get engaged to a human?"
"Serenity isn't human." he laughed "She's the mermaid princess of the
Atlantic Ocean."
