Khali POV
When I tried to get out of bed, Asia wrapped her arms around me. She unexpectedly opened her eyes. I fully expected her to be asleep though. She looked so peaceful and at ease.
"Where are you going?" She questioned as she sat up. She rubbed her face then stared at me with her pretty eyes.
I hardly slept last night. My mind has been filled with so much. I'm still trying to figure out what I need to do. I can't come to a decision by myself. I need to ask someone else about it. That someone else is Leek.
"I have to go umm talk to Leek."
"At seven in the morning? Do I look like a fool to you?"
I raised an eyebrow and opened my mouth to say something, but she spoke before I could.
"I swear if you reply with sarcasm I'ma fuck you up."
"Sarcasm? I.. what's that? I have no idea at all what sarcasm is."
She narrowed her eyes at me. I almost laughed but I held it in.
"What's been up with you lately? You have been super secretive. You type away on your phone non stop. What bitch are you texting?"
She is the only female that I've texted in a while. I would tell her that she's the only so called 'bitch' that I've been texting, but I know that her short, mean, over aggressive ass would get mad.
"Ain't no bitches in my phone. Asia don't start with that insecure shit again. We said we would try to work through our problems. Not create new ones."
"WELL IF YOU TELL ME WHO THE FUCK YOU BEEN SNEAKING OFF TO MEET AND WHO THE FUCK YOU BEEN TALKING TO, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY INSECURITIES!"
She was fuming mad at this point. It's going to be tough to ever joke with her or try and have fun with her. She is always so uptight when it comes to me. By that I mean that she doesn't trust me at all. If I look at my phone, I'm cheating. If I leave her sight, I'm doing something I have no business doing. I can't have a single ounce of privacy, or else I'm made out to be a no good dog in her head. I have no idea what I can do to gain her trust, but I need to figure it out. Quickly. I'm going to try my best and do as Nova told me though. I'll try to react more calm when Asia gets mad at me. We'll never get anywhere if both of us are angry when an argument comes up.
"Asia. Baby girl." I looked over at her. "I'm not sure that I can trust you t-"
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAN'T BE TRUSTED! Y-"
"Stop, stop." I shook my head then picked up my phone. "Just stop. You're wrong. I haven't been texting a bitch, I've been texting a man."
She looked so disgusted and hurt, but I just gave her my phone. She went to my messages and opened the conversation at the top. She strolled to the beginning of the messages.
Benny: hey.. did u n Ricky talk
Me: kind of but not much.
Benny: wat did u want to know
Me: I wanted to know what Lux's mission was. Seems as though she was adamant about something before... you know. I think she was trying to say something about a flight.
Benny: Lucianna had a heart of gold. When it came to her twin, she always went above and beyond. Her twin, Lucille. It crushed me when Lucianna revealed to me that Thomas was basically holding Lucille hostage. She tried to leave him a few months after she had her daughter, but he wouldn't allow that.
"Khali... what's the point of this?"
"Just keep reading it."
Me: Ricky didn't know about this?
