Khali pov

Since I found out what happened, all I could do was sit on the sofa. I'd been sitting here so long that I completely lost track of time.

The fact that Asia took my child away... nah, there ain't no way I can just settle for that. I wasn't even supposed to know about it, but Justin, Taylor's dad answered Asia's phone. Nigga had the nerve to say he felt sorry for me after hearing all the desperate, sympathetic voicemails so he felt the need to 'set me straight'. That stupid ass bitch ass muthafucka don't know who he fucking with. I should find his ass and off him for talking all that reckless shit to me. He heard one part of the story and thing he know every fucking thing. He better sit his pussy ass down somewhere 'cause I'm not the one to fuck with.

Once I sort out all this shit, I can sort out my family drama hopefully. Asia has to be crazy if she thinks she can keep my child from me. My flesh and blood will most definitely know who her father is. Asia can think she'll be one of those spiteful baby mamas but she got another thing coming. Here I was thinking I was too hard on her, which is why I kept calling to apologize, but then she just had to pull some shit like this.

As I sat on the sofa, Breaking news flashed on the screen. When I saw the burning buildings behind the news reporter, my eyes widened.

"Wait... Woodward ave... what the fuck?"

I took a mental note of the street name behind her then I ran upstairs to the room I've been staying in. I shook my head when I saw how nice and neat everything is. I wasn't planning on stepping back in this damn house, but where the fuck else was I going to go? My options are slim to none.

I turned the tv on the news and sat at the desk. Sure enough, when I looked at my papers, that street name was identical to one that I had written down as one of SB's traps.

I stared at the screen long enough for multiple updates on the story. By the time I was done watching the news, so many questions ran through my mind. Who in the fuck managed to tear the whole city apart? How did they pull the shit off? I know the reporters were white, but how were they bold enough to stand they asses out there like it ain't some killers on the loose?

"KHALI!"

I'm so tired of arguing with Trenton, so instead of just sitting in the room and ignoring his aggy ass, I got up And went downstairs. I walked over to him, but in the blink of an eye I was laying on the ground. Muthafucka hit me so hard I didn't have no choice but to hit the ground.

"Aye yo, what the fu..."

"NO YOU LISTEN THE FUCK UP! THANKS TO YOU MAKING MALIK FEEL LIKE HE DON'T DO SHIT, HE WENT ON A MUTHAFUCKING SUICIDE MISSION. HE HASN'T RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS AND THE CITY IS IN AN UPROAR. NOW I HAVE TO GO FIND MY SON!"

I stood up with my sista balled up at my sides.

"WHAT the fuck are you talking about nigga?! You so concerned about him but I bet you didn't give a fuck about me when I put my life on the line all those times. Fuck y-"

He swung his fist at me again but this time I was able to dodge it. I attempted to punch him in the face but he shrugged it off like it wasn't anything. It wasn't until he lifted me off the ground and slammed me unto the floor that I regretted even trying to fight his ass.

"YOOO! AYE! What the fuck is going on?" I heard Leek's voice before I seen him pry Trenton off of me.

Instead of getting up, I just sat up and watched how Trenton praised Leek. Finally I was able to put two and two together. Leek just made the biggest move ever made in gang history pretty much.

"I appreciate it pops. I couldn't have done it without my niggas though. They're outside; you should go congratulate them too."

Leek watched Trenton walk out the room before he turned his attention to me. He sat in front of me and busted out laughing while trying to grab my face. I smacked his hand which only made him crack up more. This shit reminds me of when we were kids. He'd always taunt me and laugh at me after I'd get whooped... which would usually result in him getting one too. Even though he knew the consequences he'd always do that shit.
