Leek POV
After I got Nova up from my mama house, I took her straight home. Tommy stayed with Laila and my mama. That means we have the house to our selfs.
“Bae, me and lil man are hungry” Nova said rubbing her belly. I looked over at her and she had a big smile on her face. I’m happy that she’s not depressed anymore. She has a big smile on her face and isn’t worrying about anything. That’s how I want to continue to be.
“What you want to eat ma, I know you hungry” I said
“I want that stuff Asia cooked” She said licking her lips
“It ain’t no more, unless you want me to go buy the stuff , have her cook it and you wait till it get done.”
“No, No I’m hungry now, I mean we can still buy it for tomorrow but I need something to eat like right now cause I’m starving”
“Okay, Well what you want?”
“I guess I can get a salad and some fruit, I wanna kinda eat healthy for the baby , since I lost one already, I wanna try and protect this one as much as possible.” She said with her hand on her round stomach. I looked over at her and grabbed her free hand.
“Baby girl is in a better place now, no more stress or anything.”
“I know Leek , I know”
I nodded my head and just drove home in silence.
When I pulled up to the house I killed the engine but Nova locked the doors. I looked over at her and she was shaking her head.
“No, I wanna stay at Khali house, My dad might come back and try to get my son too.”
Fuck! I legit forgot all this shit happened at our house. I should’ve known that she wasn’t going to wanna come here.
“My bad boo, I wasn’t thinking “ I said cranking up the car and calling Khali.
“Yo” he answered.
“Aye where you at bruh?”
“At the house, Wassup?”
“Shit, I need a favor, “Me and Nova needa stay at……”
“Bruh yall good , you ain’t gotta ask me to stay here. You need help bringing Nova stuff?” He questioned
“Nah, Thanks man, I wanna have a meeting thoe tomorrow , inform all the workers and stuff”
“Aight no doubt, When you get here I wanna go with you to pick up Nova, I’m pretty sure Asia wanna go to but she got the kids.” Khali said. I laughed to myself little did he know I already had Nova.
“Aight Well i'll let you know" I said and hung up. I looked over at Nova and she was starring back at me. "You want me to go get your clothes "
"No we can get them later."
I nodded my head and backed out into the drive way and headed straight to Khali house.
As i pulled into the driveway, and killed the engine . I looked over at Nova and she was knocked out., i jogged around the car and opened her door.
"We here"I said tapping her. Her eyes fluttered open and she undid her seatbelt.i helped her out the car and we walked to the porch of his house. I rung the door bell repeatedly but then stopped when I thought about Tink. She might be sleep and I don't need Asia cussing me out.
"If Katelynn was to wake up I was gonna punch you in the face"Asia said snatching the door open. She eyed me then looked at Nova wide eyed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG WHEN YOU GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"She screamed hugging Nova" Omg , My bestie home, KHALI, NOVA HOME"Asia said pulling Nova in. I shook my head at her cause clearly she just told me not to wake Katelynn up but She two seconds from doing that her self. Her loud as sss mouth.
