Chanyeol is sick of this adult phase thing going on.

Every time Baekhyun is near him, he feels on edge, forever either fidgeting or just trying to stop looking atBaekhyun's lips or Baekhyun's eyes or Baekhyun's thighs or anything Baekhyun. It doesn't help that this is probably the first time he's ever thought so ually of someone.

It's just a phase. He reminds himself every time he is left breathless and aroused. I wish this would just be over already.

Honestly, he hadn't meant to kiss Baekhyun again – in fact, it had never even crossed his mind. Okay, he admits to have thought about kissing Baekhyun again, never failing to wonder how it must feel to have Baekhyun's lips on his again, but never had he actually considered doing it.

It's just a phase. He tells himself again, but oh god do phases make kissing feel infinitely better, or is it just him? Do phases make kisses leave a jolt throughout his body, leaving trails of fiery desire along his skin?

He has half a mind to search this so called phase up, but when he opens up his laptop, he has no words. He shuts it closed, frustrated.

He groans into his pillow. He didn't know what came over him. All he knew was that, getting closer to Baekhyun was something he wanted to do, and when he got close he couldn't think of anything else but his lips his lips his lips until it becomes a mantra running through his tired mind.

When he kissed Baekhyun again, without even knowing, he had felt like fireworks had burst inside him, leaving him breathless. Baekhyun's lips felt so good with his.

What became better was Baekhyun had kissed him back just as fiercely, his arms reaching up to grab Chanyeol's shirt, pulling him closer, and before Chanyeol knew it, he had slipped his tongue into Baekhyun's small cavern.

It felt so good he couldn't stop, and he didn't want to stop, and he knew Baekhyun didn't want to either. So when he was suddenly shoved back, he was confused to say the least.

So confused he didn't even realise his lip was bleeding. He had studied Baekhyun's eyes, ones with horror pasted onto it, his expression etched between pain and desire. Something is holding him back.

"Baekhyun – " Chanyeol wanted to explain, say anything to stop Baekhyun looking at him like that, but before he can even utter another word (he was at a loss for words anyway), Baekhyun had fled.

I know you like it, Baekhyun. Chanyeol thinks to himself, but he knows in the end he's only trying to convince himself. But what's holding you back?

Why can't you just ing kiss me and get it over with?

When Baekhyun returns, he doesn't talk to Chanyeol and ignores him such that Chanyeol is beginning to feel that he ceases to exist.

It's a little hard and offending, to be honest, but Chanyeol pretends he doesn't care.

Until one day a few days later he can't stand it anymore.

"Yah! Byun Baekhyun!" He shouts when Baekhyun is in the room. His roommate doesn't react, doesn't even flinch, as he continues folding his clothes. Annoyed, Chanyeol shouts again.

"Byun Baekhyun!"

No response.

"!" Okay, maybe that is going a bit too far, and although the old Chanyeol would've insulted him like so without a heartbeat, now Chanyeol doesn't find the heart in doing so. The moment it leaves he wishes to take it back, feeling guilty, but upon seeing no reaction truly disheartens him.
