Jace thinks he needs to save the world, but you don't have to encourage him to do so. That was what Alec told Clary shortly after she walked into their lives. He has seen that it wasn't true. When Jace thought he couldn't be with Clary he went on that suicidal mission to save the world. Right now Jace hasn't seen Clary for six months and he has been on quite a lot suicidal missions to save the world. Well, Jace doesn't call them suicidal missions. He volunteers for a lot of Clave assignments, because that's how it is. Once Clary turned his proposal down he dived back into the shadowhunter world. Jace has became a fulltime Clave puppet.

For Clary it was different, she ran back to the mundane world mostly. From what Alec has heard she is still training though. And Alec's resources are quite reliable.

Clary and Jace neither have been doing okay. Izzy was pretty close to both, even though you can't really say that Jace is close to anybody at the moment. Maybe Alec himself. That's why Alec can tell how miserable Jace is feeling lately, and the killing demons hasn't made anything better just yet. Jace was still Alec's parabatai so that's why he was feeling quite miserable too from time to time. Magnus was trying to help, he talked to Clary about it. Alec might be unexperienced in love but he just knew these too were made for each other.

Clary has been at Magnus and Alec's appartment a few times. Alec wasn't sure just yet if that was only because she wanted information about Jace. Maybe, but she could get that from Izzy too. Speaking of which, she has been back from Alicante many times. To visit Simon but also her beloved brother. Anyways, things were about to get shaken up again.

"Isabelle Lightwood, I am not going to Idris," Clary yells trough her phone. "Damnit Clary, I thought you said there was no need for yelling trough a phone?" Izzy says. "Apperently I have to yell, because elso you just won't understand. I. Am. Not. Coming. To. Alicante," Clary said, fuming. "See you tomorrow," Izzy happily answers before she quickly hangs up. Clary let herself fall back on the bed, knowing that there once no use in calling back. Once some idea got settled in Isabelle's head, it won't ever get out. Even when she isn't saying it out loud, Clary knows what the plan is here; Clary seeing Jace again. Magnus told her he isn't coping very well, Izzy told her a several times, even Alec told her that Jace missed her. The point is; Clary missed Jace too, an awful lot. Clary felt like half a heart without Jace, the more charming half of her was gone. But things changed after she turned down his proposal, and Clary Fray wasn't ready to face her boyfriend or ex-friend or wherever they stood right now, just yet. The saying no to his proposal part was quite an impulsive decision, and like these Clary has had more the past six months. Since she got back in New York, Clary has been improvising. Getting everything clear for herself, trying to convince herself she did the right thing. She grabbed Luke's carkeys and yelled at her mom and Luke she'd be off to Magnus's. Another impulsive thing, her mother and step dad don't know a thing about the whole pregnancy issue.

"Why are you so sure that Izzy's ideas are in your disadvantage?" Magnus asked, still in his glittery pajamas. Clary sighed and gave him the 'you've got to be kidding me'- look. "Why are you so sure there even is a plan? Izzy wants you to come to Alicante. Period," Magnus stated. Clary sighed and leaned back on the leather couch, Magnus made it appear in his appartment probably very recently because Clary hasn't seen it before. "Magnus, you know there's more. Jace will be there, I'm sure. And like I said: I can't face him, not yet," Clary repeats. She explained the situation to Magnus, he became quite a good friend of Clary. "Oh Clary, dear, don't get all too much fluttered about this. That reminds me, have you told that golden boy of yours about the mini-golden boy?"

Clary certainly doubts if it was a good idea to come here for help. "No, Magnus. Maybe if you were paying attention you might have remembered I told you I haven't spoken to him in six months," Clary says. Unwillingly her hand moves to her stomach, these six months without Jace. Well, let's just say, a lot of impulsive decisions were made. "Just try to have fun in London, okay? And tell Izzy she should've teached her hot brother about fashion instead of only demonkilling," Magnus smiles. Clary laughs and asks; "do you mean her hot gay brother or her hot golden brother here?" Magnus laughed his high pitch laugh and leaded her to the door, "time for you to go, dear. London is fabulous, enjoy!"
