First (Draco Malfoy x reader)

Chapter 10- Dance

  You and Draco had now been an official couple for 2 weeks. Everything was great, but you hadn't actually had that much time alone. You usually hang out with at least one person more, which was nice, but that meant you couldn't be too concentrated on each other. Not that it actually stopped you, there were not very many moments when you weren't in some way touching. 

"I wanna be that lovey-dovey too" Su sights one evening when you, Su and Mandy are in the common room.

"I want a boyfriend who's loving and hugs me and is always looking after me. But there aren't any good ones left. Everyone already have a girlfriend."

"You'll get one eventually" Mandy says.

"But I want one nooooow" Su complains.

You haven't seen Draco all day, which is extremely rare. I wonder what he's up to...
Then, after classes have ended and you're heading towards the library you finally spot him. You run up to him and give him a kiss and he asks you to follow him. You walk together with him to a spot outside.

And then out of nowhere he suddenly has a bouquet of red and white roses.

"...I don't know if you've heard, but there will be a dance, or ball, held in a few weeks. It's nothing like last years Yule ball, but I think it will be nice. It was originally only for Slytherin's but it's okay to come if you aren't in the house yourself if you go with one, so I was wondering if you'd like to be my date?"

You laugh "Of course I'll go with you! You're my boyfriend and it sounds really fun. You didn't need to give me this" you say, indicating the flowers.

"Well, I thought it should be done properly, even though my chances of getting a yes was a bit higher than for others. The dance's a secret though, so don't go telling people about it that haven't been invited"

"Oh, okay... I feel a bit bad not telling Su and Mandy about it, but I promise not to tell"

Draco doesn't give you an answer to this, he only leans forward and kisses you long and gently.

You go inside together.

"Wait, what do I do with the flowers? They'll now something's up"

He gives away a small laugh. And then says with faked surprise and a broad smile "What? You don't think they'll accept it as one of my usual romantic gestures that I do all the time?"

Before you have the time to answer, you see Su running towards you with an enormous smile, followed by an also smiling Mandy.

"Y/N! OUTSIDE! NOW!"

Su grabs your arm and literally drags you away from Draco and outside. You look at Draco in surprise and for help but he only smiles and waves.

Well outside both Su and Mandy explodes. They talk really excitedly and quick and at the same time which makes it completely impossible to understand even a word they're saying.

"CALM DOWN I can't hear a word you're saying"

They both take a deep breath and starts over, now one at the time.

"Blaise. Zabini. Asked. Me. To. A. Secret. Dance." Su says but fails to hide her excitement so it's almost impossible to hear the word 'dance'.

"And Theodore Nott asked me!!" Mandy adds really happily.

"We're just assuming we can say this to you since you're going out with another Slytherin"

"Yeah, and the flowers confirms that we are right" adds Su.

"It was so amazing"

"They took us aside, and he had this cute bouquets too"

"And then he just told me about the dance and asked if I'd like to go with him since there weren't any Slytherin girls that were good enough"

"Yeah, I heard Millicent was asked by an older guy and she's the best of them"

"And you should have seen Nott's expression. He was so cute. You know, a little shy, embarrassed but at the same time not unsecure"

"Zabini though, he was sooo cool. Like he was really sure of what he was doing and had no doubts whatsoever"

You start to laugh at their excitment, first only a little but then more and more. You drag them into a group hug and everyone laughs and is really happy.

You haven't actually talked that much before with either Nott or Zabini but now is definitely the time to start.

Nott had apparently snuck into the kitchens earlier and gotten a lot of food, so you sit down and have a picnic in a small room (it's a bit too cold outside to sit there for a long time).

The day of the dance has arrived. You are really excited, and last weekend you went to Hogsmeade with Mandy and Su to buy new clothes to wear.

You have a beautiful light blue dress and a matching tiara. Maybe a bit too much disney princess -feeling but you really do look great in it (not to brag but..).

Mandy has a green one that matches her red-ish hair and Su picked a lilac.

Su is nervous. Since she was asked she barely hasn't stopped talking about Blaise. She totally has a huge crush on him now if she didn't have it earlier.

"Well, if you do good tonight we may have two ravenclaw-slytherin couples soon" says Mandy seriously and gives Su a brotherly clap on her back.

You laugh.

"Now we just need you to get together with Theodore - well not that Su and Blaise are seeing each other but let's imagine that is happening"

"Emmmmmmmmm........no. Not very likely, no. He's nice but that's all there is."
