Niall quickly picks me off the bed and carries me out of the room. I feel myself shaking along with him. As soon as we enter the lobby, people and staff fall silent.

"I need my car now!" He yells at the young lady at the desk.

"Niall." I whisper.

"Why isn't anyone moving!" He screams again.

"Calm down. I'm fine." I touch his face gently in attempt to calm him down.

"This way, Sir." The young lady's voice is calm.

I feel Niall's chest fall and rise as the cold air hits my barley covered body. The lady opens the door and Niall lays me in the passenger seat. He rushes over to the driver's seat and I notice he nearly trips.

"You're drunk and shaking uncontrollably. You can't drive." I say softly as he slides into his seat.

"I'll be fine." He attempts to put the key in but fails. He's shaking too much.

I reach across and hold his hand to stop his trembling hand. I grab the key and start the car myself. He sighs and quickly presses on the gas pedal.

"Alright," a lady in a white coat walks in, "Rebecca Horan?"

I flinch at the sudden change of last name. Niall signed me in so he obviously put his last name.

"Yes." I say quietly.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Perea." She shakes mine and Niall's hand with a warm smile. She has short, beautiful blonde hair and green eyes.

"Is she okay? Is the baby okay?" Niall sits straight in his seat.

She laughs and looks over at me. "Wow, he's just like any other new father."

"I asked a question." He says through his teeth.

"Niall." I shoot him a warning glance and he leans his back against the chair.

"You are both perfectly fine and healthy." She smiles at Niall making sure he understood.

"So she's fine?" Niall asks.

"No miscarriage?" I follow.

"Not at all. Bleeding during pregnancy is common, especially during the first trimester, and usually it's no cause for alarm. About 20% of women have some bleeding during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. However, about half of women who bleed in pregnancy eventually miscarry, but that doesn't necessarily mean that if you're bleeding you've lost the baby. Symptoms of miscarriage are strong cramps in the lower abdomen and tissue passing through the vagina." She nods as I take mental notes.

"So she's fine?" Niall repeats.

"She's fine." She laughs.

"Just make sure there's no stress added to her. By stress I mean: no moving, no fighting, nothing traumatizing."

I glance over at Niall and he looks down at his feet.

"Ahh." The doctor shakes her head. "Whatever it happened was probably the cause of it."

"You looked pretty freaked out." I laugh lightly.

"I wasn't about to loose you or him." He smiles as we walk towards the car.

"Everyone keeps saying 'him'."

"Is that bad? You don't want a boy?" He frowns.

"I do! I just... feel," I place my hands on my almost bumpy stomach, "it will be a girl."

"A girl would be nice." He stops in front of me.

He moves closer and removes my hands and places his. After a few seconds of starring at my stomach, a smile takes over his face. He takes my hands in his and plants a kiss on my forehead. I pull away and walk towards the car leaving Niall standing in the parking lot.
