"Oh look who's finally home." My mother says as I walk into my house
I roll my eyes are move up the stairs. She follows me into my room and Diana soon joins us. I pull out my Starbucks apron and cap.
"Where are you going?"
"Work." I say in a sarcastic tone.
"No way. You're pregnant now." She shakes her head.
I look over at Diana and she is smiling at me. "It hasn't even been a week Mom. I think I'll be fine."
"You won't stress yourself. Plus, you have to get ready for the wedding."
My eyes dart to the floor. I had forgotten that in a few weeks, I would be getting married. I did however, remember how angry Harry was when I informed him about our plans.
"Oh, we need to get your dress!" My mother clapped her hands and a smile quickly grew on her face.
I haven't spoken to anyone except my family in two weeks. Every time I try to go out, my mother explains I have to get rest. We have only gone out once to find my dress and book the church and reception. My mother is taking care of everything else. Niall came by once to give me a ring. He basically put it on me and left after. No conversation what so ever. I didn't expect much. Niall getting on one knee to ask me to marry him was probably the stupidest idea in the world.
"So, two weeks and you'll be married." Diana brings me breakfast to my room.
"You don't have to do this. I'm just pregnant."
"I know." She smiles. Diana is the only excited person in this family. All my mother is interested in is the Horan's money. Diana has always wanted a little brother but my mother swore she would never have more kids.
"Mrs. Fernandez came by today but mother said you were busy." She set the tray at my lap and took a seat at the end of the bed.
"What did she want?"
"She came to inform you that The University of Arts has accepted you!" She smiles from ear to ear.
My mouth fell open at the news. My hands flew up to my mouth and I began to do that weird thing where I laugh and cry at the same time.
"She also said that you have to be there in three weeks." She looks down and frowns.
I stay quiet as I take in the bad side of the news. I have been dreaming about going to a big art school since I was little. Now that I have it, I can't have it. I will be married in three weeks with a person I despise.
"Hello?" A warm voice rings through my ear.
"Hey, it's Beckie." I bite my bottom lip.
"Oh. What's up?"
"Nothing much. I just wanted to give you some news."
"Go for it." I know Harry is smiling at the other end of the line.
"Mrs. Fernandez came by today to inform me that I got accepted." I almost cry at the thought.
"That's amazing! I knew the moment I heared you sing that you would make it!"
"Thank you." I smile even though I know he can't see me. "I also wanted to call you to let you know my mother will probably be dropping off the invitation."
There's silence for way too long that I have to check my phone to make sure Harry is still on the other line.
"This isn't fucking fair." He quietly says.
