My eyes fly open at the sound of a door slamming hard. The sky has become pitch dark outside and the wind has picked up speed. I wrap my naked body around the white sheet and move out towards the door. The living room is instantly warmer than the room. The lights are on but no one seems to be around.

"Niall?" I call out but there's no response. I walk back to the room and change into one of the short gowns Gemma packed for me. I pull my hair up into a pony tail and head back to the kitchen. My stomach growls as I pull out some items from the fridge. I place them on the counter before returning back to get some more food. A cold hand touches my shoulder causing me to jump.

"Hey." Niall's voice is hoarse.

"What's wrong?" I turn around and take his face in my hands. His eyes are bloodshot red as if he had been crying too much. His cheeks are red and cold at my touch.

He stares into my eyes for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Nothing." He pulls away and sits on one of the stools.

"Niall, tell me." I sit on his lap.

"I said nothing!" He raises his voice causing me to flinch. He sighs and looks away from me. I jump off of his laps but his hand pulls me by my waist.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm hungry. I haven't ate in like two days." I move to the cabinets and pull out a small pan. I stare at it while it heats up deciding what to make. I grab a bag of chicken wings and pour them into the pan. The noise of the wings hitting the pan makes me take a step back to prevent the jumping oil to burn me.

"Are you hungry?" I look up at Niall who is playing with his fingers. He nods his head and I pull out two plates from another cabinet. I move back to the fridge and pull out a gallon of orange juice.

I slide half of the chicken wings onto Niall's plate and the rest onto mine. I take a seat across from him and instantly begin to eat. Niall stares at his food for a few minutes before picking at one of the wings. I drop mine on my plate loudly and cross my arms.

"What?" He looks up at me.

"I'm not an idiot. What's wrong?" I raise my brow at him. He looks back down at his food before sitting up straight. He looks around as if someone were watching us before leaning in.

"My father, his friend and his family are staying here this week." He looks down the hall.

"Oh." I take a few seconds to think. "Why are you upset?"

"It's Barbara and her family." He takes a deep breath.

I stare down at my plate as I remember the history between Niall and her. Why would they be coming here? This is supposed to be our honeymoon. But Barbra doesn't know that. She thinks I'm Niall's cousin just traveling around with him.

"When are they coming?" I look up at him.

"They'll be here in a few minutes."

"Before they arrive, please tell me why you were crying?" I place my hand over his.

"I know this isn't going to end well. I really don't want to lose you." He shakes his head.

"Don't worry nothi-" I'm interrupted by the sound of voices at the front door. Niall and I look at each other, panic has taken over his face. I nod at him and he slides off the stool. I pull my hand back and look down at my plate.

"Niall!" I man's voice roars throughout the house. His accent is much thicker than Niall's. "Long time no see mate!"

I keep my head down as four body's move in behind Niall. They continue to talk amongst one another. Barbara's voice is clear as she talk about how she just got a new job at Elle. Diana would love to be here right now.
