"This is insane!" I say as we walk down the jet stairs.
"It's nothing." Niall shrugs.
"Nothing? I have dreamed of coming here since I was little!" I shake my head with a smile.
The temperature is some what comforting. It's not too hot nor too cold. There are light winds and the sun is out clearly. Compared to New York temperature around this time, it's heaven here!
Niall leads us to a black car that is parked outside of the airport. He places our bags in the trunk as I slide into the passenger seat. By the time he get's inside the car, the nerves are killing me.
"We'll go drop of our things at the hotel and go grab something to eat." Niall places his hand on my thigh. I shift in my seat and he quickly removes it.
The drive to the hotel takes less than ten minutes. I step out of the car and stare at the enormous hotel in front of me reading Hotel de Paris. It looks more like a government building than an actual hotel. It's at least six stories high with beautiful statues.
As soon as we enter the hotel, my mouth falls open. I feel as if I had just walked into a palace. The ceiling has the most beautiful carvings and a chandelier is hanging from the middle. Other lights hide within the arks of the ceiling. The entrance floor is made out of marble until you reach the center, which is covered in a beautiful red carpet. Off to the left side, there are two sets of doors signaling Restrooms. The next glass door seems to reveal what seems like a casino. To the right side, there is a desk with a young lady in a navy blue uniform. There are other men with the same colored uniforms walking around, pushing a cart with bags inside.
"Ready?" I hadn't noticed Niall left me in the middle of the lobby. He held a card in his hand.
We walk up a set of stairs leading to a sliver door. Niall presses a button and the door slides open after a few seconds. We step inside and I look down at Niall's empty hands.
"Where's our stuff?"
"They will bring it up in a few minutes." He forces a smile.
I nod my head as bite my bottom lip. The door quickly opens and Niall allows me to walk out first. I notice there are only two doors on each side of the hall.
"There's only four rooms in this hall?"
"Two." He says as he slides the card into the first door on the left.
"Two? There's fou-" I say as we walk inside. My mouth falls open as we walk into what seems like a living room. There are two couches and a small glass table in the middle. There are about six wooden tables on the walls, each holding either a lamp or a vase with flowers. On each side of the room, there is a white door.
"The bedroom is over there," Niall points to the left, "and the restroom and closet are over there."
I open my mouth but no words come out. I hear a light chuckle from Niall and I notice I haven't moved since we walked in.
"Are you hungry?" He asks as he takes a seat on the couch.
I shake my head and there is a small knock on the door. Niall opens it and two men rush in with our bags and set them my the bedroom.
"Merci." I say as they leave the room.
"Soyez le bienvenu" They nod they're head before leaving.
"You speak French?" Niall smiles.
I nod my head and he frowns. "You haven't been speaking much."
I shrug my shoulder and he shakes his head. "See?"
