Niall's POV

"How long has it been since you last talked to her?" Greg's voice was low. I had been trying to call him for the past few days but he refused to pick up until Denise did it for him.

"Four months." I sighed. "Four fucking long months."

"And you haven't even tried to contact her?" I could hear his annoyance clearly.

"I have no idea where she is and I don't have her mother's number."

"I could easily drive to her house and get it for you or ask if she knows anything about her."

"No." My voice came out as a threat. "I don't want any problems with her. She would have already called me to convince me to stay with her so it means Rebecca still hasn't told her."

It's true. The day she rushed into my house with the news, she pushed and pushed. She begged me to marry her daughter. I know she could care less about the baby. Rebecca had told me how greedy her mother is. Ever since her father died, their money has been dropping. All she wants is money, my money.

"Well you have to do something. You can't just let her get away like that. I know you love her."

"And what am I supposed to do? She hasn't even tried to contact me either. I gave her a choice. The last day we spoke, I asked her to picture her life. If she saw it with me, I would try to make everything better. If it wasn't with me, she could walk away that instant. She clearly doesn't want anything to do with me."

There's silence at the other end of the phone. The only noise is coming from my own breathing. I know what he is thinking. The same exact thing as me; she's not coming back.

"I have to go." He finally says. "Theo just woke up. I'll call you as soon as I have time."

A small cry is heard before the line falls silent. I roughly pushed the phone onto its stand on the desk. This is bullshit. Nobody has time for me anymore. My mother calls me once a month and as for my father, he hasn't even spoken to me. I know he has the perfect reason not to but I'm still his son. He could check up on me once in a while.

Maybe it's for the best. Maybe it's better if they don't talk to me or check up on me. It's much easier to go around doing whatever you want without having someone on your ass all the time. I may actually be enjoying this freedom.

"Horan, Mr. Estrada would like to see you." Karla pops her head into my door.

"For what?" I groan and tilt back my head over the chair.

"He didn't say. He just said it was something important."

I groaned once again before pushing myself off my chair. I had been working in this stupid company for almost four months and not once did he call me in. I had seen him when I first got hired and occasionally in the halls. What could be possibly want now?

"How may I help you Sir?" I knocked on the door before letting myself in. Brian was sitting on his own leather chair behind his giant desk. He was facing away from the door towards the windows admiring the view.

"Ah, Niall!" He turned around with his fingers interlocked at his stomach. "Take a seat son."

"Is there a problem? You've never called me in here before." I took a seat across from him.

"You never told me you were married." He raises his eyebrow at me.

"Is that important?" I feel anger rush through me. Of course it is Niall! She is your wife and she's the most important person in the world.
