I heard several voices coming from downstairs. I closed my eyes in attempt to get more sleep, but the noise grew as more people seemed to be arriving. There was a knock on the door and quickly opened without my response.

"There she is!" My aunt Alicia's voice filled my room. I sat up and forced the best smile I could manage. She quickly moves towards my bed and sat at the edge.

"I can't believe it! You are actually getting married! Even though I don't think it's a good idea that you are so young, but your mother tells me he's a great boy."

So I'm guessing my mother hasn't told anyone about the baby. Nobody, I mean nobody in our family has ever gotten pregnant before marriage so I of course couldn't ruin my family's "good name." My mother explained that we would say the baby was pre-mature so people wouldn't begin to question why I had a baby 8 months after I got married.

"Rebecca, honey. The cosmetologist is here. You still haven't taken a shower." My mother pulls me off my bed.

I locked myself in the restroom and noticed a small white dress hanging from the door. I didn't understand why I needed to wear a dress to get my hair and makeup done.

As the warm water ran down my bear skin, I began to think of how much my life would change this day. My teenage years would be ripped away from me. My freedom would be gone with a signing of papers. With the say of a few words. Tonight, I would no longer be Rebecca Martinez. I would now be Rebecca Horan.

"Rebecca!" My mother pulled me from my thoughts as she pounded on the door.

I turned the water off and slipped into my white dress. Not until I was staring at myself in the mirror that I noticed the dress wasn't completely white. It was a more pearly-white. It had many fake pearls and diamonds in the front created a beautiful design that seemed like an hour glass.

"You're hair is beautiful and so healthy!" A girl brushed through my hair. She had a beautiful lavender-colored hair. It was in a braid to the side. It was so simple yet so beautiful.

"I like yours better." I smile through the mirror. Her bright green eyes met mine and she smiled back. I wanted to ask her if she was wearing contacts. I had never seen eyes that green.

"I just did it yesterday and I wasn't sure how it looked." Her cheeks flushed against her pale skin.

"It's very beautiful. I would dye it like yours in an instant!" I said as she tied up most of my hair into a quick bun leaving only a layer loose.

"I think you would look lovely. Maybe after the wedding, you can call me up." She winked at me as she began to straighten my hair.

"I never got your name."

"Perrie. Perrie Edwards." She smiled nervously.

My hair was smoothed back away from my face. A braid on each side ending at the bottom where a beautiful bun formed. I smiled as Perrie made finishing touches on my makeup.

"All set." She took a step back and nodded proudly at her accomplishment. I glanced at the clock that read 12:28. In three hours, I would be inside a church vowing away my freedom and giving my life to a man I despise.

I slowly walked down the stairs and heads quickly turned to look at me. The talking turned into clapping and cheering. I forced my best smile as I reached the bottom of the stairs. I received endless amounts of hugs and "congratulations" from strangers.

"Beckie!" Alison ran towards me. She hugged me tightly and didn't let go for a while. She rocked me from side to side as she repeated how much she missed me.
