The Wolf Inside.

Ch:4

I looked at the door which was in about a million little pieces then I looked over at the door. Reedus was standing there in his werewolf form. I came out from behind the desk and examined him. He looked over at me with his piercing red eyes which scared me. He changed into his human form and walked over to the dresser to put clothes on. My jaw dropped when he changed. His body was very muscular to say the least. He had the most perfect abs ever and a v-line that could make any girl weak at the knees.

I was still a bit scared so I asked, "what was the whole vampire thing about"? He snarled and said "they were looking for trouble". "just to let you know, never go out by yourself now" he said in an angry tone. I was even more scared now and asked "why not"? "Because they say you with us today, they know what you are and they can smell it in your blood, and they smell our oder on you" reedus said in a frustrated tone.

After he put boxers and shorts on he walked over to me. I looked back at Brad who then left the room. I looked into Reedus's eyes and they were still bright red. I looked at him and quietly asked "why are your eyes still red"? He smiled and said "when a wolf gets mad their eyes glow, and since Im an alpha mine glow red when Im mad". I asked "does the luna's eyes glow red". He laughed and said "no, they glow what ever color her eyes are".

I sat down and said "final question"! Reedus looked at me and said "ask me darling". I smiled at what he called me and asked "do our eyes still glow even if we are not mad"? Reedus said "well our eyes glow when we are in our werewolf form". He cleared his throat and continued. "If we are in our human form our eyes glow when we are mad, sad, or if we howl or growl".

I thought for a minute and said "well that explains what my brother did". Reedus looked at me curiously and asked "what did he do"? I said "well when he was in his human form he howled, then it turned into a growl, and while he did this his eyes glowed and he bared his wolf fangs".

Reedus smiled and walked to the window and looked out of it. He turned his head back and said "your brother is my best friend and my second in command". I smiled and asked "what am I to you"? He turned around and walked towards me. He gently cupped the side of my cheek and said "something to protect and care for". He took his hand off of my cheek and walked away. He headed outside again and started to run.

I cupped my cheek that he touched. Then I thought "does he like me"?!?!

I walked out of the cabin and walked over to my brother. He hugged me and asked "are you excited for tonight"? I smiled and said "hell yeah"! He laughed and said "let go home and get ready". We walked back to school just as the bell to get out rang. We ran to catch the bus to go home. After we got on and sat in a seat the busdriver pulled out of the lot and drove the route home.

As I sat there in my seat I heard a loud wolf howl. I looked over at Brad just as he looked over at me. I smiled and asked "was that Reedus"? He laughed and said "oh yeah".

I quickly switched seats and sat with my brother. I asked "what did he say"? Brad smiled and said "he informed all of the other wolves about your ceremony tonight"! I smiled and said "does it mean anything that my birthday falls on the same day as the lunar eclipse"? He thought for a second and said "well it means that you are gonna be one powerful little werewolf". I gave him a look and said "little"? He laughed and said "I was just kidding".

I glowed my eyes at him and said "you better be ready because Im gonna kick your ass tonight". My brother freaked out and said "never ever glow your eyes around humans, its bad enought that people at lunch say you glowing your eyes today". I became sad and said "im sorry, I was just trying to joke around". He hugged me and said "its ok, you didnt know".

Our bus driver pulled up to our stop and we got off. After our bus pulled away my brother let out a howl. I listened as Reedus replied back. The only reason I could tell that it was Reedus was because his howl is louder, darker, and more strong than the others.

We ran up to the house and went inside. We both ran up the steps and went into his room. He said "sit on my bed, I have something to give to you". I smiled and said "ok". He went into his closet and brought down a box. He handed it to me and said "this is from mom and dad, before they died they told me to give this to you on your 18th birthday". I smiled and said "they knew I was going to turn into a werewolf on my 18th birthday didnt they"! He smiled and said "yes they did, but I wasnt allowed to tell you about it until the night of your birthday." He continued and said "sorry I scared you today, I should have showed you that I was a wolf in a different way".

Before I opened the box I asked "how were you going to tell me about us". He smiled and said "well I was going to take you out into the woods, just you and me. Then I would have told you and when you just laughted I would have said then let me show you something. Finally I would have transformed". I smiled and said "I guess that could have been better, but Im glad you did it the it happened.

I didnt want to tell him that I have a crush on the Reedus. I would have no idea how he might react to that.

He looked at me and said "open the box". I opened the lid and my jaw dropped.
