The Wolf Inside.

Ch:9

As I walked along side of the road I heard the terrifying howls coming from Reedus. He was yelling "get back here, I'm sorry, or your gonna regret this". I stopped after I heard the floor to the cabin open up. Reedus howled as he ran to me. I kept walking as he caught up. He grabbed my arm and pulled me in for a hug.

He kissed me on my lips and said "baby, I'm sorry. Its just that I got so jealous and I was ready to kill him". I remembered how I marked his and thst would make him very protective and possessive over me. I kissed him back and said "it's ok, but I should be able to hug him if I want. The next time you do this you will regret it".

I ran back to the cabin where everybosy else was. Reedus followed and said "I love you". As I ran I glowed my eyes at him and said "I love you too"!

When I walked into the room I walked over to Adam and hugged him again. I asked "how are you". He smiled and said "alive thanks to you". Reedus came in and growled. I looked at him and glowed my eyes. I growled back and he stopped.

I let go of Adam and we all sat down. The pack was asking me tons of questions. I held my hand up for them to stop talking and they listened. I looked over at my brother and askec"what did you want to ask me". He smiled and asked "how did you get him in time"? I smiled and said "I barely got to him in time, but I got him and thats all that counts".

Reedus stepped in and kneeled my my foot. He stuck his claws into my foot where the arrow got me. I yelped in pain for a few seconds then calmed down. Reedus cleaned the blood off of my foot and asked "how did you know how to heal Adam"? I said "my inner wolf told me what to do, so I listened to her". They all smiled then Adam said "I owe my life to you". I smiled and said "no you dont".

Reedus looked up at me and said " what you did was dangerous and stupid". I looked over at him and growled. I snarled as I said "well somebody had to help him, you all left him there to die". The pack looked down in shame because they knew I was right. I walked over to Adam and said "Dont ever think you owe me your life because I was doing what was right".

I looked over at Reedus and said "If you have a problem with me taking care of the pack then you try doing it". He snarled and glew his eyes at me. Everybody, but me submitted. I heard whimpers from everybody else, but I just snarled back at him. I started to glow my eyes at him and I walked up to him showing that I wasnt afraid of him.

He growled "dont ever speak to me like that again". I got up in his face and said "watch me". I pushed past him and walked outside again. I ran into the woods to be alone. I picked up the scent of the hunters so I transformed into a werewolf. I crawled on all fours and ran into the bushes near by. The hunters walked right into a clearing ahead so I used my super hearing to listen to them.

One with a bow and arrow said "that wasnt the same black wolf as before because the last time this happened nobody came back for the wounded one". The one with a shotgun said "well whoever it is we need to kill it.". The third guy faced away from me and said "Well, we need to set up traps throughout the woods".

That voice of his really got to me. It sounded so familiar, but I couldnt think of who it was. They started walking towards me so I began to run. They didnt see me so I ran back to the cabin. I ran inside and said "they are coming"!

Reedus shut the door behind me and asked "are you ok"? I looked at him and quietly said "just fine". I walked back the hallway and went into our room. I walked over the closet and put on some boxers and a huge t-shirt.

I thought for a second and said "shit, school is tomorrow". So I took off his clothes and put mine back on. Just after I was done getting dressed Reedus walked in. His eyes were glowing and he was snarling.

He walked over to me and said "if you ever act like that infront of the pack again you will suffer the consequences". I got up in his face and asked "and what might that be". His eyes stopped glowing as he looked into my eyes. I wrapped my hands around his and said "put your wolf claws away, there is no need for them".

I kissed him on the lips for a couple of seconds to tease him. He stopped snarling and tried to become seductive with me. I walked out of the room and said "see you tomorrow after school sweetie". I just killed him. He wanted me because he was being seductive, but I totally walked away. As I walked down the hallway Reedus came running out of the bedroom.

He came up to me and put me against the wall. He planted kisses all over me and said "you cant do that to me". I smiled and let out a small laugh. He said "I must have you at once". I smiled and said "not tonight, I have school tomorrow". He frowned and said "but I need you". I laughed and said "sorry, but your not getting lucky tonight".

Right before I broke out of his grasp I kissed him and gently bit down on his bottem lip. He moaned and said "god, you are killing me". I smiled and said "see you tomorrow". I walked back to the pack and looked at Brad. I said "I think we should be heading home, it is a school night". He walked over to the door and looked back at the pack. He said "see you tomorrow guys" and the pack responded with a "ok see ya tomorrow". 

Adam looked at me and said "thank you for everthing Shelby...I mean Luna". I smiled and said "just call me Shelby, only call me Luna if I request". He shook his head and bowed. Then they all did, including my brother.

We walked through the woods and came across our house. I smiled and said "wow, I didnt know we were this close to the cabin". He smiled and said "yeah, we only live 5 minutes away". We got into the house and we both went up to our rooms.

I got in the shower to clean myself after being in the woods for so long. After I got out I got dressed in my pj's and walked over to my bed. I crawled under the covers and set my alarm clock for "6 a.m". My brother came in before I fell asleep and said "oh yeah, tomorrow is a full moon, so we will not go to school on tuesday". 

I sat up in bed and asked "why not"? He smiled and said "because we dont change back until the sun comes out, which now occurs at 8:00a.m". I smiled and said "thanks for letting me know". He smiled and jokingly said "goodnight Luna".

I listened as a howl came aross the sky. It was Reedus and he was talking to me. He said "I must have you! Please come back to me"! I laughed and looked into my mirror. I watched as my eyes glew bright yellow as I began to howl. I replied "You have to wait until friday". I could hear his whimper from here. I smiled and went to bed. But before I did I sent him a telepathic message. I said "goodnight baby, I miss you already and I love you! See you tomorrow for the full moon". He replied and said "I love you too"!
