The Wolf Inside.

Ch:2

As my brother took me out of the school, the words "its time" echoed through my head. I looked at him worriedly and asked, "time for what"? Brad looked back at me and said, "you'll see".

I was confused because Brad was taking us towards the woods. I was a bit scared because I had no idea what he was doing or where he was going. We kept walking then came across a huge rock. My brother looked at me then his eyes glowed bright emerald green. I stepped back as he let out a growl that echoed through the forest. The growl turned into a fierce howl. I stood there and became terrified. I backing up slowly then tripped over a rock.

As I looked at him, I noticed something standing on top of the rock. When I looked up, there were about 3 wolves looking down at me. When I looked at Brad, his face changed, then with a bright flash of light he changed into a wolf. He was snow white with bright green eyes. I looked in absolute fear and got up. I ran as quickly as I could as I tried to get out of the woods. I heard all sorts of howls coming from behind me as I ran. When I listened closely, they sounded more like words rather than howls.

I stopped hesitantly and turned around. My brother and 3 other wolves started to surround me. With another flash of light they were all human again. I looked at my brother and he saw the fear in my eyes and written all over my face. He walked towards me so I began to back away from him again. A guy who was really handsome grabbed me from behind. I was startled so I started screaming, "let me go"!

Brad walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder. He looked at me and said, "its ok, calm down". I trusted my brother so I calmed down. I looked at him and asked , "what the hell is going on? You just turned into a fucking wolf"! He smiled and said, "Shelby, you and I were blessed with the gift of being shapeshifters"!

As I looked back at the rock, another wolf stood there watching us. He was much bigger than the rest of them and looked a million times more threatening, He jumped off of the rock and stalked towards us. My brother smiled and said, "this is our alpha". The alpha strode towards me with his bright red eyes and shape shifted back into a human. I felt belittled and I submitted to him. Before I knew it, I was on my knees with my head points down at his bare feet. It was so weird because it felt like something controlled me and made me do that. He let out a hand so I grabbed onto it. He quickly brought me back to my feet with one slight yank. He smiled and said, "welcome to the pack Shelby. You're the first girl of our pack". I smiled and asked, "well when am I gonna change"? The alpha smiled and said "tonight. Theres gonna be a lunar eclipse". I smiled and said, "well I have all kinds of questions". The alpha looked back at me and said, "well then, all will be answered. Come back to office with me. Brad, your coming too". Brad looked at him and said, "yes sir"!

We walked through the woods and came across a beautiful cabin. We walked inside and went into the room labled "office". He told us to have a seat so we did. He walked to the other side of the desk and sat down. The alpha smiled and said "ask me anything you want"!
