Ch:15

My alarm clock started beeping so I opened my eyes slowly and switched the alarm button to off. Reedus was still in my bed and he said "you know, we could just stay in bed all day". I smiled and said "sorry, but I need to go to school". He kissed my cheek and said "man I wish I could go to school so I could be with you.

I climbed out of bed and said "well thats sweet, but you would be to destracting". He smiled and said "yeah, because of my good looks". I laughed and said "now your pushin it". I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of skinny sweatpants and a loose t-shirt. Then I walked over and did my hair.

When I was about to do my make-up my brother came stubling into my room. He was shaking, but he was sweating. I walked over and asked "are you ok"? He said "I'm cold". Reedus got up and said "you dont look so good man". I got out my claws and dug them into his back. I warmed him up and he stopped shivering. He said "thanks". I asked "how are you feeling now"?

Brad said "much better, I'll go to school". Reedus looked over at him and said "maybe you should stay home for one more day". I said "I'll stay too, I cant leave you alone". Reedus said "you go to school hun, I'll take care of your brother". I smiled and said "ok, thanks".

I did my make-up and walked my brother back over to his bed. I helped him get under the sheets then I tucked him in. He smiled and said "thanks mom" trying to make a small joke. I smiled and said "just be alert ok". He said "yes boss" and closed his eyes. Before I walked out of the room he said "have fun at your sleepover tonight"! I smiled and said "I will".

I went back into my room where Reedus was. I said "well I have to go". He walked over and kissed me. He said "I'll walk you to your bus stop". I smiled and said "you dont have to". He pulled me closed and said "but I want to". He bite my bottem lip gently then kissed me. I smiled and said "feisty".

We walked downstairs and he grabbed my backpack and bag for the sleepover. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed a banana for the bus ride. We walked outside and walked down the trail through the woods to get to my bus stop. When we reached it he handed me my backpack and my bag. A girl who was at the bus stop stared in awe at Reedus.

Reedus said "have a good day" then he kissed me on my lips for about a minute. Then he walked back up the trail. I walked closer to the others at the bus stop and the girl looked at me. She asked "how was that"? I smiled and said "my boyfriend". She smiled and siad "you bagged a cute one, where did you meet him at"? I said "I met him through my brother". She said "oh cool, where is your brother"? I said "he is sick".

The bus came and stopped at our stop. I got on and the girl asked "could I sit with you"? I smiled and said "sure". She asked "so why havent you been in school"? I said "I was taking care of my brother". She smiled and said "thats nice of you, but why dont your parents take care of him"? I frowned then said "my parents are dead". She got a sad look on her face then she said "I'm so sorry, if I would have known I wouldnt have said anything". I said "it's ok, you didnt know".

We sat in silence for a few minutes so I leaned my head against the window. I felt sad because I started to think about my parents. Reedus must have senced my saddness because he telepathically asked "whats wrong sweetie"? I said "nothing, I'm fine". He said "well you were just sad". I said "I was just thinking about my parents". He said "try not to think of them babe". I said "I wont, I love you". He said "I love you too".

The bus pulled up to the school and me and the girl got out. I asked "whats your name"? She smiled and said "Mandy". I said "nice to meet you, I'm Shelby". She smiled and said "nice to meet you". We walked into school together then went to our lockers.

Elisha was waiting by our lockers and she said "hi, ready for the sleepover tonight"? I smiled and said "yeah, I'm excited"! She said "me too" as we walked to homeroom. When we took our seats the teacher sadly said "class there has been an accident".
