Ch:20

"Maybe some other time, I stll have a lot to deal with". He said "I understand, take as much time as you need. I will always be waiting". I smiled and said "thank you". He smiled a cute smile and said "no need to thank me".

FRIDAY AFTER THE BELL RANG:

The bell rang and everybody shot up out of their seats to go home for the weekend. Danny ran up to me and asked "what are you doin this weekend"? I said "nothing". I wasnt going to tell him I was going to out to eat with my teacher. He said "well tongiht my sister and I are going hunting, so just swing by the cave if you want to come". I smiled and said "ok, I will think about it". He smiled and said "see you later".

I walked into the reading room and knocked on the door. Mike smiled and said "hello sweetheart". I smiled and smiled and said "hey". He grabbed his backpack and put it over his shoulder. I asked "you look like you could be a senior". He smiled and said "I'm glad I'm 20 and out of school", I said "I like being 18, It's a nice age". He smiled and said "I wish I could be 18 again, but I also like being 20".

We walked out of the school and walked over to his car. He got into the driver seat and I stood there staring at him. He said "cmon sweetie, get in". I hesitated then got in. I shut the door and put my seatbelt on. He pushed a button and the roof of his car started to move and disappear behind us. I looked up and saw the blue sky. I like his convertable, it's really nice.

He turned the key and the engine reved up. I smiled and said "came down speed racer". He laughed a bit then backed out of the parking lot.

He got onto tHe road and said "I know somewhere fun to drive". I smiled aand asked "where would that be"? He said "well, it's in the middle of nowhere, but I can get up to about 100 miles an hour". I said "well that sounds a bit dangerous". He smiled and said "well where do you want to go"? I thought for a second then I said "how about the top of the hill in the park". He smiled and said "ok, we will eat then we will go there".

I asked "where are we going to eat"? He said "well do you want to go to a resturant or do you want to go through a drivethrew"? I smiled and said "surprise me". He smiled and said "I know exactly where to go".

Mike was driving for about 40 minutes then we finally pulled into a resturant. I looked at the sign and it said "Full Moon". I smiled and asked "is that the name of the place"? He said "yeah, I come here all the time, it's my favorite place".

We went inside and some guy behind the counter said "hey bro". Mike smiled and said "whats up".The guy behind the counter said "nothin much, just waiting for mom and dad". I looked at Mike and asked "do your parents own the resturant"? He smiled and said "yeah, my brother and sister work here too. My brother is the cook and my sister is the waitress".

I smiled and said "cant wait to meet them". Mike turned towards his brother and said "Blaze this is Shelby, Shelby this is Blaze". I smiled and said "nice to meet you". He put his and out and I shook it. Blaze said "he doesnt bring his girlfriends here, so he must really like you". Mike looked at him and gave him a "shut up" look. Blaze just smiled and said "well take a seat".

We sat at a booth in the back and a girl came out of the kitchen. She walked over to Mike and gave him a hug. I asked "is this your sister"? He smiled and said "yes". She smiled at me and said "hi, my name is Victoria, but for short you can call me Vic". I smiled and said "Nice to meet you Vic, my name is Shelby". We shook hands and she asked "so what would you like"?

I looked at the meue and asked "may I please have the small spaghetti bowl with a small salad with ranch dressing and some iced tea"? She smiled and said "sure thing". She looked at Mike and said "I already know what you want", He smiled and said "you know me too well". She hit him lightly on the head with a menu as she said "thats what sisters are for".
