The Wolf Inside.

Ch:13

As I continued to stay in complete darkness I could hear Reedus saying "no, you cant die, I love you so much baby". I tried to talk back, but I couldnt. Brad also spoke to me. He said "please dont leave me, your all I have left".

I treid to wake up, speak, and move, but I couldnt. My wolf spoke to me and said "you need to find your strenght, you need to find your luna. I tried, but I couldnt reach her.

I felt someone grab ahole of my hand. They spoke and I could tell that it was Reedus. He said "I'm going to try to heal you". He stuck his wolf nails into my chest and nothing happened. All he did was yell and scream in pain. He took his nails out and cried over my body.

I focused and looked deep inside of me. I could see my luna so my wolf told me to go after her. I did and I shot up. I was in Reedus's bed and there was a bandage over my chest wound. Reedus wasnt in here anymore. I looked around and nonody was in here.

I listened for howls, but there were none. I tried to howl, but I stopped because my chest hurt to much. I looked and seen the blood start to soak through again. I grabbed another bandage that was laying on the nightstand next to the bed. I put it on then slowly got out of bed.

I sat at the edge of the bed and got up. I felt dizzy and fell to the floor. I laid there for a few seconds then said to my wolf "help me get up and find Reedus and my brother". My wolf came out and helped me off of the floor. I made my way to the door way and looked down the hall.

I could hear someone moving in the main room. I tried to shout "Reedus", but it came out as a whisper. I slowly walked down the hallway. I put my hands on the side of the wall for support. When I peered around the corner the room was a mess.

I looked at the figure and realized it wasnt a pack member. He looked at me and bared his fangs. I said to my wolf "help me heal, I need to protect myself from this vampire". My wolf said "I will try my best". I looked down and took all of the bandages and gauze off. I watched as the chest wound healed and turned back to normal.

I glowed my eyes at him and said "get out of this house". He bared his fangs and sprinted towards me. I quickly shapeshifted and grabbed him by the throat. I slammed him against the wall and dug my nails into his neck. He hissed in pain and swiped at me, but he missed. I growled and asked "what are you doing here"? He said "I'm not telling you anything".

I smiled and slashed my claw across his chest. He screamed in pain and said "ok, ok, I will tell you". I said "then do it". He said "my master sent me here to kill you". I asked "why". He said "because you are a luna". I smiled and said "yes, but why does he want me dead"? He said "well we need to kill you in order to kill Reedus. His heart will be broken if you die so that would be the ideal time to kill him".

I said "if you ever touch Reedus I will kill you and everyone else in your clan. He said "but then you would be fighting against your own clan". I got confused and asked "what do you mean"? He smiled and said "so your brother kept that secret from you". I dug my nails deeper into him and I asked "what do you mean"? He said "you father was a vampire and your mother was a wolf. They loved eachother and they fought to keep eachother. You are related to our master, he is your uncle".

I looked at him and said "your lying". I was about to slash his throat when he said "wait, wait, wait, you can turn your eyes purple. If your eyes turn purple then you are part vampire". I looked at him and glowed my eyes yellow. He said "think about your father". I did and he said "look into the mirror". I did and my eyes were bright purple. I opened my mouth as vampire fangs grew in.

The vampire looked at me and said "look the real reason my master wants you dead is because you are the last hybrid". He said "we are gonna go to war". I said "well your not". He got a puzzled look as I tried to slash his throat. But he grabbed my hand and threw me to the floor. He sank his fangs into my neck as the pack was coming back.

I howled and noticed that I never changed back to my human yet. Before I did I slammed the vampire against the wall and slashed his throat. When I did he quickly swiped his nails across my chest before he died.

I changed back into my human form and looked down. I now had a huge cut there his nails got me. Reedus ran in as I fell to the floor. I passed out again and didnt know what to think.

This time I didnt have to find my luna. I woke up on my own and Reedus was sitting on the bed with my hand in his. He looked at me and kissed me. I kissed him back and hugged him tight. He stopped and said "I thought you were dead". I said "I thought I was too". He said "I love you so much, please dont ever leave me again". I cupped his cheek in my hand and said "I wont". I sat up and hugged him tight.

My brother came into the room and said "shelby, thank god you are ok". My wolf snarled at him and he backed up. I glowed my eyes at him and asked "why did you keep the secret from me"? Brad looked puzzled and asked "what secret"? I got up and said "you never told me that I was a hybrid". Reedus got up and asked "how did you find this out"? I looked over at him and asked "wait, you knew about this too"?

They both looked at eachother and frowned. Brad said "yes we both knew, and we kept it from you because we were trying to protect you". Reedus asked "how did you find this out"? I said 'oh, that vampire that I killed came to kill me. His master is my uncle. My uncle wants me dead because I am the last hybrid there is".

Reedus grabbed my hands and said "look, we only wanted to protect you. Before your mom and dad died they told us to make sure that you never found out". I looked over at Brad and asked "are you a hybrid too"? He smiled and glowed his eyes purple". I was shocked and asked "how"? He said "it was passed down to us through our genes".

I asked "so do we pick a side"? He smiled and said "yes, I chose to be a werewolf". I smiled and said "I choose to be one too". Reedus kissed my cheek and said "if you forget about it the wolf will overpower your vampire". I said "well I choose to be a wolf, I would never want to be a vampire". Reedus said "good, or else I wouldnt know what to do with you".

I looked over at Brad and said "sorry I snapped at you like that, I just wish you would have told me". Brad said "I wish I could, but I made a promise to mom and dad". I said "well you did a good job at it"!

I looked down at my bleeding wound and told my wolf to fix it. She did and I thanked her.

I looked over at Brad and asked "where are your vampire fangs"? He said "I ripped them out so I never could become a vampire". I smiled and looked over at Reedus. He looked back and asked "do I want to know"? I smiled even more and asked "where do you keep your pliers at"?
