The Wolf Inside.

Ch:8

When I woke up I looked over at Reedus and he smiled. He kissed me and said "good morning sweetie". I smiled and said "good morning". I leaned my lips on his and kissed in for about a minute. After we were done kissing my put his hand on my cheek and said "I'm so glad that your my mate". I smiled and said "your my one and only"!

We sat up then crawled out of bed. I put on his boxers and a loose shirt. He put some boxers on then he walked over to me. He picked me up and kissed me. I kissed him back then my stomach started growling. I disconnected our kiss and I said "I'm hungry, lets get something to eat". He smiled and asked "do you want to eat human food or transform and learn how to hunt"?

I thought for a second and asked "is hunting fun"? He smiled and said "it's fun when you chase after your prey"! I smiled and said "put me down". After he did I ran down the hall and stopped at the door. My brother and the rest of the pack were coming in. He smiled and said "good morning Luna". I smiled and said "excuse me boys". They all cleared the way and I transformed into a werewolf midjump going out of the door.

The pack started to howl and they all transformed and began to run with me. I felt so free and alive. I loved it. I picked up the scent of something so I ran even faster to see what it was. I came to a stop when I seen a deer in the clearing ahead. I snarled and started to growl. I looked back and the rest of the pack was running up to me, but had a long way to go.

I jumped off of the rock and and tackled the deer. I held it's neck down with my one hand and howled. I snarled in it's face then I slashed my claws across its neck. I dug into the delicious flesh and inhaled the tasty meat.

The rest of the pack came running up and saw me. My brother stepped forward and said "good job sis". I looked up and growled. I said "thanks" then asked "where is Reedus"? Just then my mate walked up to me and rubbed his face against mine. Then we all began to rip at the deer carcass. We devoured the meat within minutes.

When the others ate I popped my head up because I heard a stick snap in the distance. I walked towards it to see what it was. When I popped my head out from behind a tree men with guns and bows were staring at me.

They took aim, but I ran away before they pulled the trigger. I ran back to the pack and howled saying "we have to leave now". I ran past then as they all watched me run away. Then a bow stabbed into one of my pack mates. It got him in the arm. Reedus yelled "run, its the hunters".

 We all charged through the forest, but I slowed down and let then run past me. The pack mate that got shot in the leg limped behind trying to catch up with us. As I ran to get him another arrow hit him. This time it caught him in the back. He collaped and growled "go while you still can".

I didnt go though. Instead I ran to him as fast as I could. I grabbed him and flung him onto my back. As I ran an arrow hit my in the foot. I stumbled and fell. I picked my pack member up again and flung him onto my back. Right after I got hit with the arrow Reedus made a strong howl. He yelled in pain. Then I remembered that both of us feel the others pain when they get hurt.

He howled again and screamed my name. The others growled and snarled as they held him back. I knew this because I could here all of their thoughts saying "pin him down or hold him back".

I ran as fast as I could with my pack mate still on my back. I run faster on all 4's. While I ran I asked "whats your name"? He whimpered in pain and he said "Adam". I said "well Adam, your going to be ok, as your Luna I will protect you".

I looked back and seen the hunters running after us, but I sped up as my adrenaline rushed through my body. A bullet hit the tree next to me and I ran out of their sights. I heard the packs thoughts getting louder and louder so I ran faster and faster.

I looked into the far distance and saw my brothers snow white fur. I let out a short howl telling everybody to keep running. They all did as I told then too and they began to run again. I was running so fast that I passed then all as soon as I reached then. I couldnt stop running and  needed to get back to the cabin.

I smelled for the cabin and I caught it's scent. I ran until I saw the cabin in my sights. I slowed down my pace and came to a stop when I was at the porch. I didnt notice, but Adam changed back into a human already. I changed back and dragged him onto the house. I put on a shirt and boxers then ran back over to him. I sat sat on my knees and said "ok Adam, I need to get the arrows out". He nodded his head and braced himself for the upcoming pain.

I wrapped my hand around the arrow in his back and I pulled it out. He screamed in pain and his eyes started to glow. I set the arrow aside then I moved down to the arrow in his leg. I pulled it out and he changed into a werewolf again from all the pain. I growled at him and shined my eyes into his. He submitted and changed back into a human again.

He grabbed my foot with the last strenght he had and pulled the arrow out of my foot. I yelled a bit, but then sat down. I started crying because Adam was losing lots of blood. I grabbed a shirt from the closet and pressed it to the wounds on his back.

I laid his head on my lap and said "your gonna be ok". I said this to keep him calm. Then my wolf inside of me spoke. She said "put my nails into his wound, it will stop the bleeding". I listened to her as I was instructed. My eyes glew yellow and I watched as my werewolf nails grew on my hand.

I flipped Adam on his back and I drew my hand to his back. I plunged then into his wound and he howled in pain. As the wound closed and he stopped bleeding pain went through my body. I realized now that by taking his pain away I would receive it. Even though my body hurt like hell I moved to his foot and did the same thing.

After he was all healed I said "your gonna be ok Adam". I stood up and helped him up too. He smiled and said "thank you so much". He hugged me and I hugged him back. Reedus stepped into the cabin and tore Adam off of me. He threw him against the wall and said "how dare you lay your hands on my mate". I ran over to Reedus and tore him off of Adam. I growled a mighty growl that even scared e and I said "leave him alone".

Reedus looked at me and screamed "but he was touching you". I screamed back "he was thanking me for saving his life". Reedus looked at Adam and asked "is this true"? Adam looked at him and said "yes, she saved my life".

The rest of the pack came in and asked "whats all this yelling about". I said in frustration "nothing". Then I stormed out of the cabin and headed towards the road.
