The Wolf Inside.

Ch:25

I walked in and sat down in his office. He said "your brother got hung up so he wont be able to make it". I frowned and said "ok". Reedus said "we have a lot to talk about". I said "yes we do" not making eye contact with him.

He sat down at his desk and said "jesus christ, will you please look at me". I slowly turned my head towards his and I looked into his eyes. My eyes were dark blue. I snarled and asked "why did you kill Danny"? He smiled and said "because you are my mate, not his". He asked "why the hell are you staying with the vampires"? I said "well I can actually trust them".

Reedus said "you can trust me". I smiled and let out a small laugh. He growled and asked "whats so funny"? I smiled and said "I did trust you, then you cheated on me and broke my heart. I will never be able to trusy you again Reedus". He said "well, if you dont come back to us we are going to war". I asked "why"? He smiled and said "becasue we are both fighting for you".

I said "well your wasting your time, and if you do go to war I'm siding with the vampires". His face saddened and he looked crush. He quietly asked "how could you do this to your pack, to your brother, and to your mate"? I laughed and said "I was done being your mate a long time ago". He said "well then we are going to war, winner gets you". I said "I really dont want to come back here, not after what you did to me".

I got up and said 'the reason I came here was to tell you to not go to war". He laughed and said "babe, I will fight for yo no matter what you say". I said "well then be prepared for me to fight against you. I'm not going to be vampire or a werewolf, I'm gonna use my new powers". He said "what you did back ontop of the mountain was amazing. I never knew you had all of those abilities". I walked over to the door and said "quit changing the subject, face it, you know you are going to lose, so just save everybodies time and call off the war".

I walked out of the cabin and I seen a flash of light in the corned of my eye. Reedus ran out of the cabin and stood infront of me. I looked at him. His black wolf was out, with piercing red eyes and sharp claws and teeth. I pushed him back and asked "what are you gonna do, hit me again, bite me"? He snarled and pushed me back.

My eyes turned bright ice blue and he said in his alpha voice "calm down". I laughed and said "then dont touch me, just let me go". He said "now I cant do that Shelby". He grabbed me by my arm and pulled me close to him. I transformed into my wolf and I said screamed in my alpha voice "ENOUGH, LET ME GO".

I snarled and got on all fours. He did the same and we had a dead stare on eachother. We slowly walked in a cirlce with our heads low to the ground. I said "you dont want to do this Reedus". He said "I need to show you that I control you". I said "like hell you do". He snarled and charged at me. I ran at him and we collided. I bit down on his shoulder and he yelped. He threw me off then climbed ontop of me.

He said "just love me Shelby". He swiped his claws across my face. Blood trickled down my face and onto the ground. I howled in pain and he swiped me again. He got me in the same cut, just going deeper this time. My wolf and I both started to whimper. He said "I love you, just love me back".

He brought this hand back and went to cut my face again. Right before his claws were about to go even deeper into the cut I grabbed his arm. I twisted it and I flipped him off of me. I snarled at him and I swiped my claws across his chest. He kicked me in the face and my jaw diclocated. I fell to the floor and started to cry. My wolf went away and He ran over to me.

I was in my human form so I curled up into a little ball and began to cry. As he ran over my eyes glowed bright ice blue and he stopped dead in his tracks. I growled and threw him into the wall of the cabin. I took the oppertunity to go back to the car. I slowly walked to the car holding my jaw. Dustin got out of the car and ran over to me. I was nude so I felt a bit uncomfortable. He picked me up and walked me back to the car. He laid me down in the back and I said "I'm getting blood all over your seat". He said "it's ok, I will clean it up".

Dustin picked my face up and said "you have a dislocated jaw, I'm going to pop it back in place". I said "ok" and braced myself. He cupped his hand on my jaw and put his other hand ontop of my head. He quickly pushed up my jaw and I heard a pop. I started to cry harder and he said "it's back in place, I'm gonna get you  back to the coven where you will be safe".

He got in and sped off back to the coven. I laid in the backseat cupping my cheek trying to stop the bleeding. He came to a stop and turned around in his seat. He took his jacket off and covered me up with it. He got out of the car and opened my door. He lightly scooped me up and ran me inside. I just cried and cupped my cheek.

Dustin opened a door and brought me inside of his room. He dressed me then he took my hand off of my cheek. He said "man thats a deep cut". He said "ok heres what I'm going to do, I'm going to bite down on the wound and inject you with some of my venom. The venom will help the wound stop bleeding". I said in a whisper "just do it". He bit down on my cheek and I screamed in my banshee voice. The venom felt like it was hot as lava.

My screaming didnt bother him though. He took his fangs out of my cheek and watched the wound stop bleeding. He had blood all over his face, but he didnt care. He ran out of the room for a few seconds then came back with a needle and some thread. He said "if this is going to heal I will need to stitch it up. I said "do it".

He put the thread throught the needle then tied it tight. He stuck the needle through my skin on my cheek, I screamed again, but not for long. After a few seconds I passed out from all the pain. When I woke up he was putting a bandage over the stitches to cover them up. He said "your finally awake". I said "what happened"? He said "well you pasted out when I was stitching up your wound". I smiled and said "thank you". He smiled back and said "no big deal". I sat up and looked at the bed. It was covered in my blood.

I said "sorry about your bed". He said "I dont care, I'll just get a new comforter, I was due for a new one anyway". I stood up and felt a bit dizzy. He cause me and said "just lay back down, you need to rest". I said "I'll rest in my room". He smiled and said "just lay back down and rest. He sat me down and I liad back. I closed my eyes and tried to relax. He covered me up with a blanket and said "I'll check on you later". He shut the light off then closed the door.I slowly drifted off and went to sleep.

I opened my eyes and looked around the room. I looked at the clock and it was 5:30 p.m. I slowly sat up then swung my legs around to the side of the bed. I got up and wasnt dizzy anymore. I opened the door and went down the hallway. I peeked into the office and saw Dustin and Reedus talking. Reedus was begging to see me. I walked into the room and said "get the hell out of here". Reedus walked towards me and said "babe I'm so sorry, I dont know what came over me".

I said "get out now". He kept walked towards me so I screamed "OUT NOW". My eyes glowed bright ice blue and I looked over at the door. It opened on my command. I walked over to Reedus and got my wolf nails out. I dug them into the back off his neck and I said "get out of here now". I walked him over to the door then threw him out. I locked the door behind me.

Dustin walked over and asked "how are you feeling"? I smiled and said "good, thanks to you". He smiled and walked over to me. He said "the cut should be healed by now". He took off the bandage and examined my cheek. There was a scar, but it will go away on it's own.

He placed his hand on my cheek and rubbed his thumb on the scar. I smiled and said "I cant ever repay you". He said "there is one thing". He leaned towards me and kissed me. I walked closer to him and stood on my tiptoes to reach his lips. He picked me up so I didnt have to stand on my tiptoes. My wolf was freaking out and yelling at me, but I ignored her.

After we kissed he said "we need to train for the war". I smiled and said "later". I grabbed him and pulled him towards my lips again. Our lips met and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled while we kissed and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
