Chapter 12. Harry
My eyes never strayed far from her. She filled my mind and consumed it. Her beauty magnified a thousand times over. I couldn't believe she would be mine for the night. I wanted her for so much longer. Every time she looked at me I couldn't help but smile.
I didn't want to let go of her hand, but I reluctantly did and walked around the car. I opened the door for my lovely date as she smiled brightly at me.
Her eyes gleaming, she grabbed my hand again. I smiled.
As we walked through the doors, I could see what she was talking about when she said we would get glares. She wasn't kidding. We really did get glared at.
It made me angry in the car. To think that someone as sweet and shy as Cassidy could be hated just because of us. I felt guilty and pissed at the same time. It made me feel better when her hand reassuringly squeezed mine though.
"What're you thinking about?" she asked. I pushed my thoughts away for a moment.
"You, of course, Love." I replied. She blushed at my response. I chuckled. I let go of her hand, and my arms wrapped around her waist. "You look so beautiful." I whispered softly in her ear.
Her gorgeous blue, green eyes found mine. I smirked. She truly was adorable when she blushed.
"Thank you," she responded, "for the millionth time." She smirked this time.
We walked towards a table. We were soon followed by Liam and Stefanie. I was surprised to find their hands clasped together as well. Cass' jaw dropped slightly. I heard her gasp.
"They look cute together, don't they?" I asked her. She nodded heavily.
"Definitely. She's had a crush on him forever. Did you see the way he looked at her when y'all first saw us?" I nodded.
I smiled at the memory. Even though it only happened maybe fifteen minutes ago, I knew I would remember how she looked the rest of our life.
I mean my life. Yeah. My life.
"It was so cute. I've never seen him look at anybody like that, Haz." I chuckled.
"He's practically in love with her. Anytime me or any of the guys bring you or Stef up, he gets all defensive. He claims it's just because she's your best friend, but I know it's a little more than that." She giggled.
She was happy for her brother and friend. They really did look good together.
I looked up to them to find Liam smiling wickedly. He said something to her and dragged her to the dance floor. I smirked.
Good idea, Mate, I thought to myself.
I snatched Cassidy's hand and pulled her forward saying, "Dance with me." It was not a request. I knew she would give in almost instantaneously. Her smile faded, and she shook her head. I kept tugging on her hand though. "Please," I practically begged her.
She rolled her eyes and huffed, "Fine. Just one." She sighed. I smiled devilishly in victory.

Before we knew it, we had already danced to five up beat songs and one slow song. We were currently dancing to "I'll be" by Edwin McCain.
With my arm around her waist, and her hand on my shoulder, my left hand entangled it's fingers into her right one. I held her closer. There was no space left. I sang softly in her ear swaying back and forth to the music.
"And rain falls angry on the tin roof, as we lie awake in my bed.
You're my survival.
You're my living proof.
My love is alive and not dead.
Tell me that we belong together.
Dress it up with trappings of love.
I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above.
I'll be your crying shoulder.
I'll be love's suicide.
I'll be better when I'm older.
I'll be the greatest fan of your life."
She giggled.
"What's so funny, Angel?" She looked down when I call her Angel. Blushing again.
"It's just that you're the popstar. Shouldn't I be the greatest fan in your life?" She looked back up to face me. One eyebrow cocked up with a teasing smirk across her lips. I chuckled.
"I suppose," I said, "but then again maybe not," I dipped her making sure to hold her securely in my arms as her head leaned back, and I swiftly pulled her back up against me.
Her smile was radiant. I loved her smile.
She laughed and said, "What was that?"
"It's called dancing, Love."
"I meant the dip." I chuckled.
"Just that. A dip." She stuck her tongue out at me. I smiled wider.
"You know what I meant." She giggled again.
"I'm just dancing, Cassy. Am I not allowed to dazzle you?" I spun her around and pulled her back into my chest with my arms wrapped tightly around her stomach.
Her back to me, I whispered lightly in her ear, "You dazzle me all the time. It's only fair I try to return the favor, Angel." I felt her shiver in my arms. I deeply chuckled.
She pushed farther back into me, her head laying on my shoulder. My breath caught when I heard her hum in pleasure. She smiled and faced me.
"Well you're certainly doing a good job." She giggled again. I smiled widely in return to her.
The song changed and the music sped up.
"I just wanna feel your body right next to mine. All night long baby slow down the song.
When it's coming closer to end hit rewind all night long baby slow down the song. Oh oh oh oh oh."
I could hear her voice singing over the music. Her body swaying against mine to the rhythm of the music. I felt completely happy in this moment. I was with her. She was in my arms. Nothing else mattered.
