Chapter 19. Cassidy
Stef looked like she had been crying last night before we went to bed. She said it was just some loser at prom who was drunk and tried to get all pervy. I guess it really scared her.
I woke up this morning with a smile on my face, however. Even though I knew Sophia was coming over. I mentally groaned, but soon got over it when I remembered mine and Harry's date today.
I jumped in the shower first thing. When I got out, I brushed my teeth and pulled my hair back into a ponytail.
I went downstairs to the kitchen. I set out all the things I needed to make breakfast. Eggs, flour, milk, sausage, potatoes, etc. Everything I need for sausage biscuits and hash browns. I mixed everything up for the biscuit mix and dumped it out on the counter. I kneaded it slowly. I got a cookie cutter out and shaped the biscuits and put them on the pan.
I got out two skillets and put the sausage into one. I sliced the potatoes and placed them in the other one. The oven beeped, meaning it was hot enough to bake the biscuits. I slid them in and continued cooking on the stove.
"I love watching you cook, baby girl," I heard someone say, "Makes me feel like I'm back at home." It was Liam.
I laughed and said, "You are back at home." I turned around to see him walking towards me, rolling his eyes.
"You know what I mean," he said, chuckling, "I miss waking up to the smell of your amazing food." He smiled at me.
He wrapped me up in a big bear hug. Giggling, I hugged him tightly back.
"I guess it's only fair," I said. He let go and looked at me with a confused look. "I don't get to hear you sing me to sleep, you don't get to be woken up by my awesome breakfast." I laughed. He smiled.
"Well I came in last night to see if you wanted to climb in with me, but you were actually fast asleep." He smirked.
"I do occasionally. I still didn't go to sleep until threeish or fourish though." He nodded.
I went back to making the food until I was finished. I took out some plates and silverware. I saw Liam shudder out of the corner of my eye. I tried my best not to laugh. I knew exactly why he did it.
"You're not still afraid of spoons are you?" He eyed the drawer with a terrified look. I let a laugh slip. "Why are you so scared of these things?" I asked holding one up. His eyes got wide and he backed up against the counter. I couldn't hold back anymore. I laughed uncontrollably. I still thought it was hilarious how he was ridiculously afraid of an eating utensil.
"It's not funny!" he yelled. I calmed down enough to put down the spoon and grab the forks. I was still laughing quietly.
I set down the food and set the table.
"FOOD!" I heard Niall say. I laughed to myself. He tried to grab a biscuit, but I slapped his hand before he could.
"Wait for everyone else, Nialler." I said, "Manors."
He stuck his tongue out at me causing me to grin in response.
"I'll go wake up the other guys." Liam said. I nodded.
"I'll go wake up, Stef." He winced slightly when I said her name.
What was that all about?
