Chapter 39. Cassidy
*6 months later*
"Cassidy Brown?" somebody asked. I looked to my left and saw Luke Hemmings. I nearly wet myself.
"Hi!" I replied cheerfully, "Luke Hemmings. I'm such a big fan of you guys."
He smiled. "I'm a big fan of yours as well! I can't believe we haven't met yet! After last year's tour with the boys, it's been crazy. We basically sky rocketed into stardom. It's been epic, but I can't wait to see the guys."
"Luke!" Niall yelled behind me.
He laughed. "Niall!"
He ran passed me and grabbed a hold of him. They were laughing together quietly. I decided to give them a moment and left to go to the dressing room.
There I found Harry getting his hair done by none other than Lou. I love her so much. She's pretty much amazing, but I have my own person to do my hair and makeup.
"Hey babe," I ask him. He immediately looks at me and smiles. "Have you seen Stefanie anywhere?"
He shook his head. "No. Should I?"
"No," I replied, "It's just that I'm before you guys and I can't find her. The show is in an hour and a half."
"I'm here!" she screamed, running in, "I'm here. Sorry I'm late. I kind of got distracted."
Liam followed after her with a smirk.
"Stop distracting my stylist!" I yelled at him. He held his hands up in defense. "You don't see me distracting Lou, now do you?" He laughed.
"Actually," she said, "I find you guys' antics quite entertaining, and when I can, I like to quietly sit by and watch." We laughed.
"Okay, okay," Stef said, "Let's get you ready!"
She brought me to my chair and began, working the magic I never fully understood and probably never will.
*Later*
"Done!" she said proudly. I checked my phone.
I smiled. "Good. With fifteen minutes to spare."
"New record," she said as she winked.
"Hello, gorgeous," Harry said, walking back into the room.
I cleared my throat. "Excuse me, sir, but I have a boyfriend. You should not be complimenting me so openly."
"I happen to know he won't mind," he replied, "nor will he mind if I do this," He kissed my cheek, "or this," My nose, "or this." My forehead.
"Do you think he'll mind if I do this?" I asked, pecking his lips quickly.
He gasped. "I don't think he's too sure about that one, but maybe if you did this," He pressed his lips to mine, longer this time, "he'd be okay with it." He winked.
I giggled and stood up, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Good luck, baby," he whispered in my ear.
I smiled and whispered back, "Thank you, love."
"Okay," Stef said, "Still standing right here, people. Ew." Cue fake gag. I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Puh-lease," I said, exaggerating the syllables, "You do it to me all of the time, and you do it with my brother. Not a friend." She stuck her tongue out at me.
"Out in ten, Cass," I heard the stage manager, Ted, say.
"Kay, thanks," I replied.
Slowly everyone gathered in the dressing room and gave me a hug.
Eleanor was there. So was KK and Perrie. It made me happy to see everyone else so happy.
But nothing made me happier than when I was singing for my fans, or being with my Hazzah. I loved them all so much it hurt. My life couldn't be any better. All of the people who are fans, or support, are so freaking amazing. I couldn't be more blessed.
"Go kick ass, Cassy-bear," Liam said.
I giggled, letting go of Harry's hand and replied, "You too, bubba."
"Always," he said and winked.
I waited for my cue and quietly walked on stage. The lights came on, the curtain opened, and the crowd went wild.
