Chapter 16. Harry

This had to be the greatest night of my life. With her head on my shoulder and my arms around her, nothing could ruin it.

"Hey guys!" Liam yelled.

Spoke too soon. Cassidy jumped at the sound. Her head shot up, but I kept her in my grip.

"What?" I snapped at him. I wasn't necessarily angry, but I wasn't too thrilled about him interrupting our moment.

He chuckled and said, "Well if we're getting in the middle of something we'll just go back inside and continue what we were doing." He smirked. Stefanie blushed.

My eyebrows pushed together, but I didn't want to question it. I quickly nodded and smiled at him.

He looked over to Stefanie. She shook her head. He looked disappointed.

Cassidy looked up at me with a questioning look. She was just as confused as I was. I shrugged. We both looked back to them.

"We can go home if you'd like." My eyes widened at Cassidy's statement.

I wanted to scream, "No! No! Don't say that! Noooooo... I don't wanna..." God I sound like a baby. This is what she does to me. Makes me whine in my head like a child.

"Cassidy..." I said. I really didn't want to leave. I hope she could see that.

She smirked and said, "We could go somewhere else. Get something to eat maybe?"

I pouted. I really didn't want to let her go. She giggled. I slightly smiled.

"You're cute when you pout..." she whispered as her smile gleaming in the moonlight.

I ditched the pout, unable to resist her beaming face.

Liam cleared his throat.

"Yeah, yeah. We're coming, Mate." I said to him.

I released the gorgeous girl in front of me and grabbed her hand instead. As we walked to the car, I hummed softly. Cassy looked up at me and grinned. I suppose she either recognized the tune or liked it.

"Umm... Cassidy," we heard someone behind us say. It was a girl with fiery red hair, bright green eyes, and a green dress. Pretty, but not my Cassidy.

"Hey Kendall. What's up?" Cassidy replied. The girl, Kendall, smiled shyly.

"My, uh, date is a little preoccupied, so could I get a ride home?" she asked.

Cassidy looked to Liam. He nodded and smiled at the girl. Cassidy looked uneasy though.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. She shrugged. "Cass, I know you a little better than that." She grinned.

"Can't get a thing past you, huh?" I shook my head. She sighed. She pulled me close and bent down my head to whisper in my ear, "I get kind of claustrophobic when there's a lot of people in a tiny space. I get jumpy and really uncomfortable." She pulled back, but only to look me in the eyes.

A smile spread in my face as I got an idea.

"I've got an idea." One of her eyebrows quirked up. "You'll be fine. Just trust me." A smirk playfully spread on my face.

I climbed the car, and Cassidy stood waiting for me to scoot in. I didn't move. I just sat there. I rolled my eyes and continued to smile at her.

"Come here, Cass." I said motioning to my lap. Her mouth hung open wide. I chuckled. "I won't bite. You should know we've been dancing all night." She closed her mouth and hesitantly climbed on top of my lap. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close to my chest. She giggled.

I could definitely get used to being this close to her. After all, I had been for the past three hours. I wasn't ready for it to end. So why should it?
