A flicker in the distance something sharp

A cry echos in the night

Long sleeves another day

she pushes everyone away

Another girl hungry. I can wait she tells herself

Nothing left but skin and bones

she starves

One more sitting all alone. She smiles but her eyes are raw.

The first girl adds to her tallys

Counting on her arms

Decoration? or self inflicted?

She cuts her life away

Number two sits at lunch. Eat something. Not hungry she says everyday. Food is a pleasure she doesnt deserve

She barely weighs a pound.

Number three waists her tears as her parents yell. Arguing over her. They can't afford her.

Number one- one more cut i don't deserve to breathe

2: One more day almost there

3: packs her bags prepared to leave home

Stop it you three. Your are beautiful. Those scars are beautiful they are symbols of the battles you've won. You with the packed bags just promise not to leave. You will be fine. Breathe. Ignore the screams. you have something you don't realize
