I fit out
I try to blend in
I still fit out
I'm not pretty
I'm distracting
Covered in scars
How can anyone ever see the beauty in me?
But someone came into my life
And cared
And that was damn good enough
He didn't come to change me
He just cared about my well being
And suddenly somehow that changed EVERYTHING
I told him everything
We became best friends
We were like brother and sistermaybe if I keep telling myself that
It didn't work
He made me so happy
I saw the signs
But I told myself no that I'd just get hurt again
But he cared and noticed something was wrong
And I said "I kinda have a crush on you"
I braced myself for the worst but he just said "I have a crush on you too"
I smiled
It doesn't take much
It only takes one word to break the silence
And three to shatter their world
I love you
One person will always care
Find them
And never let go
