Every now and then I find myself denying my own beauty.
I find myself lying on the floor.
All the names they call
me i believe them to be true
But all it takes is someone to see the real you
He can see right through my smile and know I'm not okay
He can know the difference between real and fake.
He sees the sadness and comforts me even if its just with a smile
He knows that I'm beautiful and
tells me everyday how amazing and perfect i truly am
He tells me I'm a gift to the world
one that only special people can see and need
He sees the light behind my eyes
he believes in me when I dont myself
he would run an extra mile just so i can catch my breathe
Im beautiful in his eyes
In his eyes i am worth it
In his eyes i am perfect
the who needs to see who he really is
he sees me as a hero
the one who saves the day
when all I do is smile and look the other way
He taught me how to fly so I wouldnt have to walk past judging eyes
He carries me when I cant stand
he speaks for me when I cant explain
Because he knows i would do the same
To him i am perfect in each and every way
And thats all i ever wanted anyone to say
and now every day i wake up with a smile
just knowing he will say I'm beautiful
And nothing you can say will ever change his mind
the way he changed mine
i am beautiful

you should know you are perfect
everyone is beautiful
