"What?" I asked inwardly causing him to look away. "Tss. I don't understand myself why I can wait this long for you to say yes to me even though I can make it happen my way to change your last name to mine" He said while shaking his head. I smiled because of his confession before giving him a peck on the lips.

"You love your woman. Yun ata ang dahilan?" I whispered which made him groan. "You whisper sexily. Nakaka-turn on. Don't do it again unless you want me to strip you naked" He warned and I chuckled.

I shook my head before kissing him. "I love you" I said and he grinned. "I love you Baby" He mumbled before I got out of his car.

Nang makapasok ako sa starbucks, nahanap agad ng mga mata ko si Lex na may kausap sa phone niya. "Lex" I called him out and sat in front when he smiled at me. After bidding goodbye to the one his talking to, he kept his eyes to mine.

"Sweetie" He said breathlessly while eyeing me with those serious eyes. I glared at him and he shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Sabihin mo sa akin ang totoo Lex. Ano bang pumasok sa kokote mo at nagpakalasing ka. You didn't even bother to take someone with you!" I bursted out and he sighed knowingly, bowing his head down. Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko. Bilang kaibigan, nag-alala ako sa kanya. Nag-aalala ako. Kung bakit ba kasi biglaan na lang maglalasing e hindi naman siya yung tipong ganon!

"Look at me" I commanded and he sighed before doing so. "What's with you?" I queried but he only responded with a sigh. Oh god, is this going to be his answer all along, sighing?!

"Lex" I warned and his jaw tightened before meeting my gaze. "Sinugod si Mama sa hospital" he honestly stated.

Natigilan ako at napaawang ang mga labi ko.

My eyes widened with the revelation but I composed myself and managed to hear him out. "May sakit siya sa puso" He stated and my heart tightened when his eyes expressed weary and weakness.
