Nanlalaki ang mga mata ko nung bigla niya akong hinila paupo sa kama kahit nakapikit ang mga mata niya. Napabuntong hininga naman ako bago inayos ang sarili ko, reaching for my phone to decline my flight to Hawaii. I can't leave this man. Not at times like this.

I shut my eyes. May flight ako ngayon pero nasa ganitong lagay si Xander. Lasing at malakas ang tama. Sinong mag-aalaga sa kanya?

I breathed out when I woke up with arms wrapped around my waist possessively while his face is on my neck. "Siraulo" mahinang sabi ko bago dahan-dahang kinalas ang kamay niya. I need to cook for breakfast.

Agad akong dumiretso sa kusina matapos kong gawin ang morning rituals ko. Well, I just decided that I'll cook bacon and eggs.

Napapitlag ako nung may maramdaman akong kamay na pumulupot sa braso ko. Head resting on my shoulder. "Morning babe" He mumbled before placing soft kisses on my nape.

Pinahinaan ko muna ang apoy bago ko siya hinarap. I need him to speak, right this instant. "Anong pumasok sa kokote mo at naglasing ka ng walang kasama? Yung could have texted Marcus, Kevin or your brother" istriktong sabi ko at pinanliitan siya ng mga mata.

He swallowed hard.

"Y-you were staying away from me. When I touch you, you flinch away. You don't let me talk to you for so long tangina, iniiwasan mo ako. Sinong hindi mababaliw kung iniiwasan ka ng taong mahal mo?" Pagtatapat niya pero mas pinandilatan ko pa siya lahit bigla animo bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko sa narinig. "And you think getting drunk can make you feel fine? Solusyon ba ang paglalasing? Seryoso ka ba?"

Sumimangot siya.

"Hindi" he flatly said.

"I'm sorry. Ayko lang na iniiwasan mo ko. I won't lose you again, Erin. That won't fuckin happen, not on my watch" He's drop dead serious which makes me want to gulp but I ignored him being serious.

Huminga ako ng malalim at tumingin sa envelop na nasa tabi.

"I think you just did" I stated before grabbing the envelope, throwing it to the table. "Now what is that" I am hurting deep inside and it's affecting my whole being. But then, I want to hear him speak. I want him to prove that all those photos and videos are lies. I want him to defend himself. Baka umiyak-oyak pa ko para lang sa wala.

His face shouted no emotion when he faced me. "Who sent this" His voice was calm but it's too sharp. "I don't give a damn who the fuck sent that! What I need to hear is an explanation from you! Are those true?" I bursted out,

He stared at me blankly.

"Naniniwala ka sa mga 'to?" His voice was rigid. Napapikit naman ako para pigilan ang mga luhang pilit kumakawala.

"I need you to tell me the truth Xander" I commanded, his eyes piercing with so much raging emotions.

"It's not true" He said and I swallowed the lump in my throat. "And how come there's a picture of you with Yvonne? You're even kissing and having sex with the videos in the flash drive!" Napabuntong hininga ako nung bigla niya akong hinila palapit sa kanya at niyakap ng mahigpit habang hinahalikan ang noo ko.

The way he hugs me tell me one straight story.

"Baby, I'm telling you. Everything sent to you is a lie." he's angry. He's voice proves it all and that made me realize that maybe, I just cried for nothing. Maybe I just cried for a lie for something that is worth not thinking.
