After an hour and a half of training with Beckett he sat down on a bench sweating buckets. I sat next to him wiping the small beads of sweat that formed on my forehead.
"How do you have so much energy?" He asked me.
"I've been through training just like yours, just for all different reasons." I concluded not wanting to go into detail.
But we all that wasn't going to happen. "Well then why were you in personal training?" He asked.
"I'll make a deal with you. For every question you ask, that I choose to answer. You have to do ten pull-ups." I said he nodded and we walked over to the pull up bar. "You have half an hour left before your training is over, so that means you have half an hour of questions you could ask and that I could possibly answer." I spoke.
"Alright, well lets start with why did you have a personal trainer?" He questioned.
"My dad got me a person trainer when I was about fourteen. He told me that it was because I needed to protect myself when he wouldn't be around anymore, so that would be now." I answered.
He did his ten pull-ups and then his eyebrows furrowed. "What do mean when you aid that you would have to protect yourself because he's not here?" He asked again.
"He died when I turned sixteen, he got in a car crash." Beckett did ten more.
"Who do you live with and why did you move?" He asked.
"That's two questions." I stated.
"I know." He replied starting on his twenty ull-ups.
"I live with my mom, and I moved because she got a better job offer here." I said. he nodded. I looked over at the clock to see that he only had five minutes left. "You have time for one more question."
"Okay." He said thinking for a moment. "Do you wanna go get lunch with me after this?" I stared at him for a moment.
"I-I, Uh I. I-I would." I stuttered then cleared my throat a bit. "Sure." I responded. He smiled and did the ten pull-ups then headed off the the showers. I did the same and in fifteen minutes I was dressed in my spare clothes that was in my gym bag.
I was wearing a pair of ripped shorts with a long sleeved cream shirt and a black sleeveless vest paired with a burgendy scarf. I walked out of the girls locker room after applying mascara and perfume to see Beckett standing there in khaki shorts and a plaid button up. I walked over to Louie quickly to tell him I was going on my lunch break, which he approved of and told me to be back in an hour. I walked over to Beckett by the door and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
He opened the door for me and then led me to his car. After driving for about five minutes making small talk we arrived at a small cafe. We were sat at a small booth by a window and Beckett just looked at me with a small smile on his face.
"What? Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"No." He shook his head. "I just enjoy looking at attractive people." He concluded.
"Oh, is there someone behind me?" I joked.
"No." He laughed an infectious laugh. I cracked a little smile and he just looked down at the menu as did I.

When Bennett dropped me back off at my house I quickly got out if the car and looked at the house as if it was a monster. Then I decided to go next door instead. I quietly knocked on the door and nobody answered, then it occurred to me that everyone was at school. I looked at my watch and saw they were only going to be in school for around ten more minutes, so I sat down on Adams front porch and waited.
I pulled out my phone and read a wattpad book when I saw his car pull up in the driveway. I stood up and he walked cautiously from his car to his porch, his eyes not leaving me.
"Where we're you today?" He asked, his eyes filled with concern.
"I-I, you saw m-me, th-this morning.- I Uhm-" I stuttered, then bit my lip when he inturupted me.
"Is it the reason you were crying this morning." I nodded biting my lip harder. I was supprise it wasn't bleeding. "What did he do?" Adam asked.
I gulped and just took his hand opening his front door dragging him into the house.
"Yesterday I got home and his helper hit me over the head knocking me out." I spoke, it sounded choked. I ran my hands through my hair and tried to blink away the tears.
I slowly pulled the side of my shorts down and showed him the tattoo as I took in a sharp breath. He ran his fingers across leaving a burning trail in the path he touched. Then I pulled my pants up and grabbed the hem of my shirt.
A single tear made an appearance on my face but I quickly wiped it away. I pulled my shirt over my head to reveal the tatoo between my breasts. I couldn't meat his eyes and his thumb traveled in the valley of my breasts. It was like a path a fire when he touched me.
"What does it mean?" I asked him.
"It's a leadership sign. It means you lead part of the gang." He sighed.
I nodded and then the tears started flowing. He put me back in my shirt and held my while I cried.
"I'm sorry, so sorry." I sobbed.
"You didn't do anything. I pressured you into kissing me. I'm sorry, it's gonna be okay." He said hugging me.
"It's not okay, it's never gonna be okay." I cried. He pulled me closer to him and just let me cry as he ran a hand over my head.
