I gasped and looked down. I fell to my knees and gasped again holding my hands up to my chest pressing it against the gunshot wound. It was getting harder and harder for me to breath. I was gasping for air as blood pooled from my chest.

Adam ran over to me and pressed on the would and cried. "No, please God no. I can't loose you. I can't, please. Please fight, don't die. It'll be okay. I-I love you babe. Clarity I love you, so much. I live you with everything I am, please pull through this." He said gently kissing my face.

"I-I love y-you too. I-I'm sorry I-I get hurt. I-I love you so much. N-never forget m-me when I'm g-gone." I cried softly still gasping for air to reach my lungs.

"I'm never gonna forget you because you're not leaving me. I-I won't let you. Please don't leave me, you're all I have left." He cried.

I reached my hand up and pressed it to his face gently. I ran my thumb back and forth and smiled softly. "I-Is okay. I-I've been able to find l-love. I-I'm happy. Y-you'll find someone new, someone better." I said and he shook his head.

"No, there's nobody better, nobody I want more. I'm gonna save you, I'm calling nine one one." He said.

I could tell I was fading out. my eyelids felt heavy and my chest was numb. It was hard to breath and I continued to gasp in air.

It hurt knowing that I was leaving behind Adam. I was all he had left, I was it. I didn't want to die but I was so tired. My eyes were telling me to close them but my heart kept them open in fear of loosing Adam.

There was so much blood. it scared me. I didn't know how much blood someone had to loose before they died but there was so much blood. I was going in and out, it was hard to remember everything that was happening.

I was laying on the ground with Adam holding both hands on the gunshot wound as he talked to someone on the phone. Then there were sirens and I was lifted into an ambulance where Adam was pushed off me, he held my hand as we were rushed off. Then I was rushed into the hospital and Adam was yelling for me as he was pushed away. Then nothing.

She was pulled away from me and I yelled after her as a security guard held me back. When I couldn't see her anymore I fell to the ground and sat there in defeat.

There was a police man who came by and asked questions buy I didn't answer, just sat in a chair staring at the floor. There were a steady stream of tears rolling down my face buy I never said anything. Didn't eat, didn't sleep, just sat there.

She was in surgery, has been for a few hours. I have no idea what's going on, I haven't been updated, and I can't wait to hear something. But as for right now I wait.

Everyone had shown up at the hospital. Marcus, Lucas, Flynn, Cheyenne, Caleb, and Brayden. They were trying to comfort me, hug me and stuff but I snapped.

"Get the fuck off me, I'm fine. There's nothing to be worried about because Clarity will be fine. So stop fucking babying me. I'm fine, everything is just great. Leave me alone." I yelled and walked out the front doors of the hospital and to the side of the hospital. I punched the wall and heard a crack as I looked down at my knuckles.

I smoked a cigerette before casually walking back into the hospital and up to the reseptionists desk.

"I need to see a doctor or a nurse or something." I said softly.

"Why?" The lady at the desk asked.

"I think I might have broken my knuckles." I replied holding my hand up.

"Come with me." She replied and led to a room. While walking past my friends I made eye contact with Cheyenne and she stood up. I glared at her but she said she was gonna use the restroom the the others then walked up to me.

"What the fuck did you do?" She asked when I was finally sat down in a hospital bed.

"My hand met a brick wall." I simply responded.

"Yea, sure did. You shattered your knuckles and have to get them pieced back together." She said back.

"Well then I won't be the only one in surgery today now will I?" I asked looking away. She just shook her head then left the room.

When I woke up from surgery everyone was in my room. I looked at Cheyenne and she gave me a soft smile while I glared.

"You told all them!" I shouted.

"They would've found out anyway so it doesn't matter that I told them. And don't shout, you just got up from surgery." She responded.

I rolled my eyes and stared down at my hand. There was a cast on my hand and it was sore. O fiddled with my fingers not saying a word as Marcus walked towards me.

"You're a dumb ass." He said. I looked up at him and smirked.

"Yea well, takes one to know one." I replied and he laughed.

"Why in the hell would you punch a brick wall?" He asked.

"You all made me mad. I don't like to be touched, or comforted in situations like these." I said quietly and they all nodded.

   "Sorry." Marcus said.

"It's whatever. Is Clarity out of surgery yet?" I asked hopeful.

"Not yet." I sighed looking down again. "They said soon though, and the police want to talk to you." Cheyenne said. I nodded and told then to let them in.

The police told everyone to leave and they did. When they were settled into chairs they began asking questions.

"When did they first take her and did you see who took her?" They started.

"I did see him, I had seen her walking through town and then into an alley, then a guy with a gun shoved her in a car. It was about one in the afternoon." I replied.

"There was someone killed there, who killed him?"

"I did. They drew a gun on me, I drew a gun on them. We shot at the same time but Clarity survived." I explained.

"So it was self defense?" They questioned and I nodded. "What's your name and what was his name?"

"I'm Adam and the guy shot was Logan." I replied and they nodded.

"That's it. Make sure you and your friend recover." I nodded and they left.

After sitting there for a few more hours a doctor came in. "She's out of surgery. Clair is in critical condition and she lost a lot of blood but she should be okay. Do you want to see her?" He asked. I nodded and stood up.

He led me to a room where Clarity was laying on a bed with breathing tubed in her nose and a blood bag attached to her IV. I sat next to her and grabbed her hand with a tear in my eye.

"When will she wake up?" I asked.

"It all depends on how fast her body wants to heal. Could be tomorrow, next week, next month. It's all on her." He said and I nodded.

After he left I stood up and leaned over kissing her forhead gently. Then I kissed her cheeks and her nose and her lips lightly. There were tears streaming down my face.

"I need you to wake up babe. I really really need you to wake up. I-I can't do this without you. I'm so proud that you fought off all this surgery and the gunshot and everything. You are so strong, stronger than anyone I know. I love you so much and when you wake up I'll be right here next to you. I won't leave your side no matter what. I love you Clarity." I whispered into her ear and sat down grabbing her hand.

The heart monitor sped up some for a moment and I smiled ma little bit with the thought of her knowing what I said. I kissed her hand and layed my head on the bed next to her waiting for her to wake up.
