I woke up to the sound of a loud beeping. I sat up and groaned rubbing my eyes. I climbed out of bed and went into the bathroom then took a shower before slipping on ripped jeans and a cropped sweatshirt.

After school I decided to call Louie and tell him I couldn't work today. I walked out my front door with my phone in hand and began walking down the street. While I was walking I heard someone call me from behind. I tucked my phone in my back pocket before turning around.

"Hey, Clair." Someone from behind me called. I turned around and was met with Beckett.

"Hey Beckett. What are you doing here?" I asked.

He gave me a small smile. "Uh, I decided to go out on a walk." He said.

"Oh, me too." I replied with a small laugh. "So how's training been going?" I asked.

"Good, but I really do miss my sexy coach." He said nudging my shoulder a little as my face ignited in flames.

"Shut up." I replied looking away.

"I'm serious. You're good, and not bad to look at." He said smirking at me.

   "Seriously stop." I replied again.

Then I was roughly pushed and my back connected to a wall. Beckett had pushed me up against the wall of an alley. "Why. Does it make you uncomfortable to know what I think of you?" He asked.

"Beckett, please let go. Please." I said shakily.

"I'm not gonna do anything princess." He said. "Calm down." He said letting his hands slip down to my waist.

"Please let go. Get off me." I said. I placed my hands on his chest and tried to push him but wasn't budging. "Beckett, don't do this. Please let go." I said.

"Princess. I saw how you were looking at me when we went out to lunch. You like me just as much as I like you." He spoke in my ear.

"No, that's not true. It was just lunch together. I'm with someone else. P-please let me go." I said, tears welling in my eyes.

He pressed his lips against mine roughly. A tear slipped from my eye as his hand gripped my waist. He shoved his tounge in my mouth and his hand began to travel up my shirt.

I brought my knee up to meet his groin. He doubled over in pain and I took the opportunity to punch him in the temple. He growled and shoved me against the wall again making me smack my head against the corner of a brick. I fell down hitting my head on the concrete and everything got fuzzy.

Beckett stood over me in shock. "I'm sorry, I-I didn't want to. Believe me, I'm sorry." He said then ran. I lifted my hand slowly and felt the warm liquid trickling from the back of my head. I looked at my fingers and saw blood.

I tried to pull myself up off the ground but my head felt heavy and the extreme pounding in my head made me dizzy.

I picked my phone out from my back pocket and turned it on opening it up to Adams number and calling.

"Hey babe. What's up?" He asked.

"Please come help me. I-I'll explain later. I'm bleeding. I'm about four blocks from my house. H-hurry." I spoke slowly.

"Where babe. I'm on my way, but what do you see? Tell me where you're bleeding from." He rushed.

"I-I'm in an alley. There are trash bags all around it, A-and I see a coffee shop. It's my head. It hurts. Everything is fuzzy." I said letting more tears fall bit not sounding like I was crying.

"I bet babe. I bet it hurts Clarity. But you need to keep those eyes open. I'll be there soon."

"Okay." I replied. I hung up and a text came in from Kayla.

Kayla: Watch out for some kid named Beckett. Apparently Logan is out of jail and sent Beckett to get you.

Little did she know that text was too late. More tears welled in my eyes at the thought of Logan being out if jail. I layed on the ground, blood coming from my head with my eyes slowly shutting, for what felt like hours. I heard a car door slam and heavy footsteps coming my way.

My eyes were on the verge of shutting when Adam appeared in my view.

"Babe. Who the hell did this to you!" He yelled. I winced at how loud it was and his face softened. there was a small scowl of anger etched on his face from him knowing that someone did this to me, but he kept telling me to stay awake.

"Don't close your eyes." He said. "The ambulance is almost here."

"I just need to rest my eyes for just a minute. They're tired from staying open. I'll open them back up I promise." I spoke slowly letting my eyes flutter shut.

"NO! Open them back up now. I'm not losing you. I'm not letting you close your eyes. Keep them open." He said. He began to kiss my face lightly a over.

"A-Adam. I have t-to tell you s-something." I began. "L-Logan is out of jail. H-he sent the guy to do this t-to me. W-hat if he's coming f-for me?" I said slowly trying to fight the sleepy feeling.

"I won't let that bastard hurt you ever again. You'll be okay." I nodded slightly and my eyes shut.

I felt Adam shaking me. "Clarity, open your eyes. Come on. Babe please don't close them. Open them. Clair, open your fucking eyes!" I could feel him shaking me and I could hear him yelling at me, but I was just to tired to fight the sleepiness anymore.

Everything started fading out. I wasn't just sleepy anymore, I was numb. The ringing in my ears had covered up all other noise and the pounding in my head wasn't hurting anymore. I felt okay in the state I was in but my eyes shot open when I was being hauled into an ambulance.

The pounding in my head resumed and I let out a slight cry, my head feeling like it was about to explode. Adam looked at me with tear filled eyes. His expression showed relief to see me awake again. "Clarity, babe, stay awake. We're on our way to the hospital. The doctors said you should be fine."

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep. I-I'm just really tired." I said.

"Yea, I bet you're tired. You have a major concussion from that accident. We're gonna need you to stay awake and we will question you later." A doctor cut in.

"I-I can't remember who it was. I can only remember what happened." I said.

"That's okay babe. You'll remember eventually. It'll all be okay." He said kissing my forhead then my nose and cheeks.

"I love you Adam. I'm sorry this happened." I said.

"Don't apologise. You didn't know what would happen. It's gonna be okay." He responded.

   "I-I should've fought h-harder. I-I should've s-stood my ground." I cried. "I-I'm so pathetic." I let out a sob.

"Babe, Clarity, it's not your fault. You're so strong, and you are definitly not pathetic. It's gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay. God, I love you so much." He said. He kissed my forhead and held my hand as a struggled to keep my eyes open.

"Stay awake, we're almost there." The nurse who was stopping the bleeding from my head kept repeating.

I had to pry my eyes open when they closed. Adam squeezed my hand and kept his eyes on me.

When we made it to the hospital I was rushed into a room. The bleeding had stopped and it was determined  that there was no bleeding in my brain. All I had to do was stay awake for a for the night.
