My heart pounds as I peek down,
Fingers twiddling the wooden object that rests in hand,
A slight breeze wisps my gown,
As I realize I'm in another land.Words flow on the canvas,
An unyielding storm in the sea,
Beauty in such madness,
This is truly me.Piles of literature lay at my feet,
Intelligence grows like a tree,
Awkward I have become to meet,
Conversations kind of frighten me.Stuck with my head in the clouds,
Trying to follow my dreams,
Asking myself if being nerdy is allowed,
Nothing is what it seems. All in all, I live a life of confusion,
Where words and life cross,
One is pure allusion,
The other is complete loss.My heart slows in pace,
My hands now upon my knee,
Gazing at papers in a wooden case,
Titled: Confliction Between, that's me.
