Your laugh, smile, encouraging words helped me get by.
Every second you were on my mind, counting down the time.
Seeing your face one more time.
But you were gone.
Disappeared like the speed of light.
Confusion trapped me with fear.
Loneliness became me.
Trying to gather your attention one last time.
No more goodmorning beautiful, goodnight the love of my life.
Sleeping alone is hard,
Sleeping with the dreams we made.
The lives that once crossed paths.
