Stars in the night sky

I lay awake each night thinking of you.
Wishing I could hold you tight, for now my blanket will do.
Wishing how I could lay my head on your chest and listen to your heart beats, for now my pillow takes the space.
Thoughts of how your hand may fit in mine ever so perfectly.
I Place my hand in my other, this will do until you're home.

My phone begins to buzz as your name reads out, I smile with joy.
Answering each and every single time.
Hearing your voice say baby makes me melt.
I miss you even more now as you talk about your day.
I feel I am missing my other half, although physically I haven't met you.
My love for you runs deeper than any.
I think of you all through the day, I then dream of being with you at night.

Often I day dream of us laying together looking at the night sky.
Crazy to think how out of the countless stars in the sky, they always seem to line up right.
The stars remind me of us, we choose each other to make our own constellation in the night sky.
Although there's an endless number of others, I choose you every time.

Every day will be an adventure and amazing journey.
