Crashing to his knees
He held her in his arms
Feeling for her breath
Her heart doesn't beat
Slipping away
Confused soul dancing
Wandering back and forth
Disappearing in the distance
Tears streak his face
Lifeless being in his arms
Holding on tight
Not letting go
Prayers leave his lips
As they pry him away
Laying down the body gently
Fighting for another chance
The man I fell for
Hoping for a miracle
I have to say goodbye
Time for another storyline
