Chapter 13

Lilly point of view

“Wait! What! What is going on” I said as I turned around and saw two cops arresting Jason. “Let go of him” I said pushing away the cop’s hands. “Jason” I said cupping his face “don’t leave me” I said as tears fall to my cheeks. “Baby, don’t worry okay, tell the guys to call the lawyer. I’ll be back soon” he said.

My dad grab my arm and pulled me away from Jason. “Stay away from him” he said. I did not hear what he said. I only hear Jason’s voice replaying in my head. The cops brought Jason out of the house and into  their car.

My dad let go of my wrist and I quickly run to my room and shut the door. I sat on the bed and started crying when my phone started to ring. It was Rocky.

“Hello!” I said wiping my tears away.

“Lilly, what happened?” Rocky asked sounding worried.

“My dad – call cops – they – they – took Jason” I said.

“What! Why!” she asked.

“I think my dad knows that he kidnapped me” I said.

“Your Mom, Is she fine” she asked.

“Yeah, she fine. My dad lied about her” I said.

“I just want Jason right now. I need him to be beside me” I cried.

“Don’t worry Lilly, he’ll be back” she said.

“The last think he told was not to worry and he asked the guys to call the lawyer” I said.

 “Lilly! The guys are here. Hold up” she said.

“Hey Lilly, what happened?” Jordan asked.

“The cops took Jason and he asked you to call the lawyer” I said. and hang up.

I lied on my bed and cried to sleep.

“Honey! Wake up” my mom said taping my shoulder. I sat up, rubbing my eyes “What time is it?” I asked.  “It’s 7pm, time for dinner” she said. “Mom, I don’t feel like eating now” I said.

“I know honey how it feels but I have something to tell you that I kept it to tell you as the time comes” she said. “What is it that you want to tell me?” I asked curiously.

“Baby, whatever I’m going to tell you is going to be shocking and I need you to remember that no matter what happens, I’ll always be there to support you” she said. “Okay, mom” I said.

She took a deep breath before starting “The person you have also known as your father is not your father” she said looking down at her fingers. “What are you saying, Mom?” I said confused.

“When you were about 2, your dad past away” she paused and continued “He died in a car accident then I did not have enough money to take care of you and I had to find for job. Then I met him and he say he will help me but he need a place to stay.” She continued

“At first I didn’t want too but when see you so happy, smiling. I couldn’t say no. Then when you grow up you started calling him dad and we went along with it” she stop.

“Mom, why didn’t you tell me earlier? He’s controlling me and you. He’s has no rights to do that” I said so angry.  “Baby, I know but we can’t do anything about it” she said. “Mom, can I see how my dad looked like” I asked.

She took out her phone and then gave it to me. I look at the picture of my real dad.
