Selen Pov:
Selen woke up with a headache but a smile in her face; she had done it; she had made love. Standing there, in the big bed of his room, all she could do was remember the beautiful moments they had had. She had never slept with anyone before, not even Jake; had wanted to wait for the perfect moment; and she had found that moment last night, dancing with her handsome stranger. They had danced for who knows how many songs, staring deep into each-others eyes; each willing the other to make a move; and suddenly the moment had come; they had both leaned in, both wanted what had happened next. Everything had been amazing; Alex was so careful, so passionate yet tender; he had made her feel the most desired, wanted, and she had even vaguely felt like the most loved woman on earth. Her smile widened, remembering all the times he had made her feel like that.
Turning her head on his side, she noticed it empty; she had been so caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't even noticed he wasn't there. Probably on the shower, she thought to herself, remembering the time they had spent there. Grabbing her clothes from the floor and quickly putting them on, she headed for the bathroom. Knocked three times on the door, before finally opening it, as no one answered. She felt funny, something wasn't right. She slowly stepped inside an empty room and her smile vanished as quickly as it had come. He had left!
Coming out of the bathroom, she called reception; hoping her head was running wild and what she was thinking wasn't true.
"Hi, sorry to bother. Do you by any chance know where the tenant of this room is?"- she asked highly embarrassed.
"Yes,"- the woman informed her and she sighed relieved, thinking he hadn't left as she had thought after all; that he wasn't the type of men to sleep with a woman and disappear afterwards.
"He checked out one hour ago,"- the receptionists voice echoed in her ears; her heart tightened in her chest; pain feeling her every cell. So he was the type of men to sleep and disappear. Tears ran down her face, as she felt betrayed, lied to, humiliated. She hang the phone down; still in shock. He had been so gentle, so kind all night, had even told her that he had never felt like that with anyone before and she had been foolish enough to believe it.
"Oh God!"- she sobbed. How could he have done this to her?? Didn't she at least deserve a proper goodbye? Why had he left without a word? She didn't expect him to tell her he loved her, or that he wanted anything more, but this.. Was she that worthless of a woman that he hadn't even dignified to say goodbye. How could she have been this wrong? How didn't she see him for the bastard he had been? It hurt so much! She felt used and worthless; she had given him herself, for the first time ever; and he had just taken it and left.
She was still crying, when her phone rang. Wiping her tears, she picked it up from her purse. It was Maria calling.
"Selen where are you? I've been worried sick!"- she heard Maria nearly yell and she sobbed out loud; couldn't hold the pain inside her chest.
"Selen??? Selen where are you?"- she was worried now.
"Answer me, Selen?"- she was screaming in the phone now, but she couldn't answer. She felt so ashamed of herself, so low, so dirty.
"Selen!"
"Room 601"- was all she could manage to say, in between cries and tears.
A few minutes had passed when she heard a knock on the door. Gathering enough strength to get up, she headed towards it. Maria was standing in front of her now, worried and panicky. Immediately Selen rushed to her friends arms, hugging her for dear life, crying her heart out. Maria didn't even speak, just hugged her tightly.
