~~Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting them not to.~~

Selen PoV:

It had been three days since the day she had first encountered Alex and finally things had started to feel a bit more normal to her. Did she get nervous every time he looked at her? Yes.. Did she feel all funny inside whenever he smiled and she remembered the feeling of his beautiful full lips on her? Yes... But it didn’t matter! She had sworn to herself never to fall for him again, and she wouldn’t! Not that she had fallen for him the first time... "Agghhh.."-she thought to herself as these thoughts had been plaguing her mind the past days.

Even going out with that cute neighbour of hers hadn’t helped ease her mind. Michael, that was his name, was a charming fellow and Selen had been pleased to find out he was as funny and humoristic as he was hot; which was a lot. During all their date he had made her feel like they were the only ones there and she was then only girl in the world, when they were in a crowded restaurant and in fairness there were many beautiful women scattered in all the tables.

With thoughts of Michaels sweetness and Alexs lips( and everything else to be honest..) she stood in the second row, waiting for the damned green light to appear. Little did she know that the light had flickered on twice already and the drivers behind her were slamming their fists down their honks instead of their hands now. It was a loud honk that woke her up and quickly she rode off, highly ashamed. Dammed them for interfering in her driving skills!

She reached the parking lot under the company in no time and was now outside her car, locking it, when she heard a pair of tires come to a stop. Turning her head around, she saw Alexs car pulling over and him swiftly making his way out. Selens first thought had been to shot for the elevator door and disappear, but logic told her otherwise. There was absolutely no reason for her to behave like that, when he had been nothing but kind to her and formal, most importantly.

So on that account, she stood there motion less, waiting for her now boss.
"Good morning"- she spoke first as he was steadily making his way towards her.
"Good morning Selen. You are early today."- Alex assessed.
"Yes, I came in to finish the report on next weeks meeting and also to ask what hotel would you like me to book you too?"- she inquired whilst they were heading towards the elevator.
"Anyone you like its fine,"- he said, pressing the button to call the lift down.
"Oh and book two,"- and with that he entered, waiting for her to step inside, only she couldn’t. This was a very important business meeting held annually in Tokyo, and he wanted her to book two?
'Of course he wants two, you are his assistant!'- she thought to herself.

And as usual she had been lost in her own head to notice his quizzical look when he caught her staring mindlessly. within seconds after her supposed 'awakening' the elevator doors were about to close and she instinctively&&& reached her hand to halt it, only it wasn’t cold metal (o whatever they are made off). Instead it was her hand placed over his, no wonder it felt so warm, and looking up she felt his eyes penetrate to her very core. Selen had been so lost in envisions of her hand on his, to notice his other hand reaching behind her waist and pulling her inside, slammed against his chest.

It all took her by surprised and she was overwhelmed by the feeling of familiarity as all their previous memories came rushing in inside her head, but most importantly heart, which was now beating harder than a.... well harder than anything she could possibly think at the moment.

Fearfully she lifted her gaze up and meet his eyes. The storm she had firstly seen in them was a breeze compared to the one she could feel now; they were darker then ever, inviting her to an abyss she knew to be delicious, but the aftermath bitter. Still, no matter how the aftermath thoughts bothered her, she couldn’t bring herself to break free from his arms, from the feeling of being in them again.
