Quote of the day:
"It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live."
~~~~~~Marcus Aurelius
His heart was beating out of his chest and every cell in his body was on high alert. He was itching to touch her, itching for the feeling of her mouth on his, itching to bury himself  in her and forget that the world existed.
No matter how hard it was for him controlling himself, he had to think with his brain and not the little fellow below, though little he was not. And so under those thoughts, he made no move further than hold her gaze and her body pressed tight against it. And the way their bodies fit together made him think they were meant to be.
After minutes of I- stare- into -your -eyes- you- stare -into- mine, he felt her hands let go of her grip and push him back. He didn't budge at first, but when her gaze turned from hot and bothered into a plea, he found himself backing off.
"" I... Umm... I.. I'll s-send the f-file to Dan-daniel,"- she stuttered, placing one hand on her hip and the other on her neck, rubbing nervously.
"The file needs to go down at Human Recourses,"- he corrected and made a huge effort to suppress the smile that was fighting to escape his lips.
" You can deny it all you want Mrs. Heartfelt, but I affect you just as much as you do me,"- he said when she left rather in a hurry to get downstairs.
Then, grinning like the idiot he knew he was, he slowly made his way to his office. Hadn't the phone ring brought some sense into him, he'd be grinning like that the rest of the day.
"Yes,"- he simply said, a bit annoyed.
" Sir, Ms. Hall wants to see you."- Marco, his first floor receptionist said. Normally he liked Marco, as the guy was highly efficient, but today he felt like killing him for the news he had just delivered.
"Send her in,"- he sighed displeased.
" Yes sir,"- the other line replied and he hung up.
Taking the phone, he sent a quick text to Selen.
" Run by the restaurant two blocks down to your left( the one I told you last time) and get me lunch. Also a latte would be fine and on your way pick my car from the repair shop."
She'd certainty be surprised at the sudden request, seeing how he ate lunch two hours ago, but he  couldn't help it. He need her to be away while he dealt with the fury about to enter his office.
"Here we go."- he thought to himself as he knew what awaited for him.
Seconds after that, an elegant, middle aged woman sprung the door open and stormed in.
"Alexander Hall, explain to me what the meaning of this profligate behavior is?"- she demanded in her usual high pitched tone and clasping her hands tight in front of her chest.
" Mother dearest, have a sit,"- he said mockingly, specially the first words.
"Alexander...
" Hall, yeah I know my name."- he interrupted her.
"Well this is most insolent of you!"- and with that she turned her head left in a displeased manner.
" Well I just thought that you'd be happy i have finally learned my name. I mean specially after the billionth time you have said it just this past week."- he then stood up and went to stand right in front of her. Taking her head between his, he turned her eyes onto him.
"Don't try to soften or tenderize me Alexander! You know I won't b..."
Her speech was cut short when he hugged her tight, resting his head in her neck. Her son hadn't hugged her like that for years. He closed his eyes and simply enjoyed the peace her scent gave him.
