SECOND CHANCES - Forgiving Isn't Always Easy

Chapter Two: Blushed and beautiful

Selen Pov:

She felt so relaxed. Taking a shower had been a good idea. It took all her tension away and she needed that
She had been so tense after the encounter with , what had it been... Alex? Yes, thats what the receptionist had called him.
She had mentally relived  the incident over and over again. She had made a fool of herself, falling, crushing to his chest and then failing to pick up her stuff. Her fingers had suddenly become so  numb and her whole body was on the edge. She couldnt understand why closeness with this man had that effect on her. If Maria hadnt interfered, thanking him for his help and ushering Selen into the elevator, she would have probably made a bigger fool of herself.

Selen got out of the shower to find Maria in one of the beds, tapping her foot down ,in a pose which indicated she had impatiently been waiting for her to finish her shower. One of the reasons she had taken the shower was this talk. She knew Maria would like to investigate farther in the matter, but she had nothing to say. She didnt know why that man had had that effect on her. She didnt know why she had suddenly become that clumsy that she couldnt even hold her wallet in her hand.
"I dont know"- it was all she said, opening the valise and picking up her favourite blue top , white pants and panties  and a bra.

"You dont know?"- Maria asked, rasing her brow.
" Yes Maria, I dont know. I mean it. I was probably tired or something. But I dont know, so drop it!"- she knew Maria was persistent and curious, but she had nothing farther to say. The encounter had left her speechless.

Later that day, the girls decided to pay a visit to the famous beach of Antalya, the part in the resort at least.  It was really a breathtaking view.The sea was a deep,yet so warm, blue that seemed to invite you to a little piece of heaven. The sun was high and the sand burning their feet, as they had taken their sandals off. It had been Marias idea to go for a walk and she didnt regret it a bit. This was so relaxing and nice. People chatting, kids running back and forth, others bathing, some playing it the sand,but all having fun.

Both Selen and Maria enjoyed long walks,so it wasnt a surprise when they overran the whole place. They had seen white sand and blue sea for hours and they had loved it. By the time they returned to the hotel, the sun had long set and the moon was high in the sky, dimly lighting everywhere.

Alex PoV:

He had stayed in his hotel room all day. The chance encounter with his mystery woman had been surprising and delighting at the same time. Her reacion had been so enlightning. He affected her and the blush across her beautiful face, as well as the clumsiness of her movements, were proof of that. He had often caught himself smiling throughout the rest of the day, whenever he thought of that little girl.

He had tried to shake her off his head many times, but somehow she always found a way back. Her blue gem like eyes, that beautiful, innocent blush across her face...  She had found her way around and had set camp in his mind and he wasnt even aware yet.

A message from Vivian interrupted all thoughts. How stupid had he been. He had spent most of the day thinking about that young girl. Thought of his fiancee made him realise his mistake. He wasnt a foolish boy who got caught up in thoughts by a pair of beautiful eyes. Thats all they were and he wasnt going to spare them another thought. With that in mind, he called Vivian.

He woke up the next day at 6:30 and quickly prepared himself for the meeting. Everything had to run smoothly. His project was impecable and so his ideas, but he was somehow still nervous. This was a big deal and he wanted it badly, not because his company needed it, after all it was a lider in USA, but this would be a personal conquest.

After taking all the files needed, he walked towards the elevator and went on the resorts restaurant. A quick breakfast and then the meeting. Alex ordered his breakfast and finished it in record time. He wanted to reach the place early, so leaving soon was imperative.

Quickly he headed towards the exit when he had to stop in his tracks. He had been so close to bumping against the lady in front and somehow she had lost control and was about to fall. Without thinking, purely instinct, he caught her in his arms.
"Are you okay?"- he breathed.
" Yes..."- she said and he recognised the voice. He looked down to see the same eyes that had plagues his thoughts lately.
