Chapter 12,

             "Okay Everyone, Can I have your attention please?!" Principal Martin asks as he raised his voice.

Soon enough everyone that was in the school parking lot kept quiet and looked at him. "Okay, so as you know were going on a field trip to the Jewish Museum," one of the popular jocks who was beside me yelled, "boo!" in a deep funny tone making me giggle. Josh chuckled with everyone else and principal martin rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, I want to make it clear to all seniors that you will not be fooling around like you did last year in your junior year. No trespassing and definitely no running off with 'Sexy Manhattan babes'," he said eying Tristan the jock that was beside me.

We all laughed and Tristan's cheeks turned red. As Principal Martin continued his announcement I noticed a silver Chevy Camero pulled up beside the buses.

"Don't pay no mind to it bunny." Josh said rubbing my back in comfort as we saw Ashley come out of the driver's side and Nathan from the passenger.

"Please listen for your name to be instructed, on which bus you will board." Principal Martin said.

I felt Nathan's presence behind josh and I as well as Ashley's. I tried to control my heart from doing these repetitive flips. Ms. Kimble our gym teacher who was a very young teacher that the jocks found very attractive looked down at her clipboard as well did the other's.

"Jenni! Sam! Landon! Ethan! Jose! Natalie! Peter! Welbert, Colton, Michelle, Delilah, Astrid, Sydney, Eddie, Ritchie, Brandon, Dontay, Corbin, Tristan, Nathaniel," Oh god please don't say my name, I rather be in Mr. Oxford's bus. "Terry, Clair, Ashley, Susan, Katelyn, Wayne, and Joshua. Let's go get on!

God why did they have to be on our bus? Why?

I watched as Ashley ran to Susan to chat while I just stood there. "Katie—baby let's go." Ms. Kimble said, motioning me over.

I frowned and walked over. She placed her hand on my back and we both got on the bus lastly. I noticed that Josh picked the fist seats up front literally behind the bus driver. However the worst part was how Nathan picked the seat beside ours.

"He said to wait from him outside the bus when we get there." Josh told me.

"No." I replied.

I watched as Ms. Kimble yelled something at Mr. Harrison before getting on the bus and sitting next to Nathan who wasn't with Ashley surprisingly. "Katelyn you can't ignore him forever." He told me.

I caught Nathan's eyes but quickly looked out the window. "It's possible." I whispered.

"Katie." He said, serious expression and everything.

I crossed my arms and sighed. "Fine."

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I turned my head to the left to see the other bus beside my window. It was Tyson knocking on my window to get Nathan's attention. Nathan caught my eyes and I almost had a heart attack.

I opened the window from above so that we could hear him. Tyson's laugh filled our ears and he waved. "Hi !"

Nathan chuckled and shook his head. "Hey!" His voice, dear god.

Tyson looked behind his shoulder at these jocks spraying what I assumed was whip cream at each other. "Oh dear god!" Ms. Kimble said and pulled out her phone to I guess inform the teacher on that bus.
