"Don't you guys have school?" Jack says as shovels more skittles into his mouth. Wade shrugs.
"We just decided to skip," Jack makes a hmf noise and goes back to his candies. They sit watching the now third Jaws movie in peace as Mark and Jack sit next to each other on the bed, their shoulders pressed together and Marks head lolled onto Jack shoulder as he fell asleep through the second movie. Robins thrown himself into an armchair. Bob and Wade both sit on the floor in front of the bed, possibly whispering, Jack can't tell exactly.
"Okay I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore," Bob says getting up exasperated. He turns and looks right at Jack.
"Do what?"
"What are you and him? The suspense of it is killing us all," Bob motions between the sleeping Mark and Jack.
"Excuse me?" Jack says his face twisting in confusion.
"Answer me?" Bob demands to which Wade holds out his arm and tries to get him to stop. He mumbles something to Bob but he just shakes his head.
"Why are you getting angry?" Jack shifts his arm over to try and protect Mark, praying he stays asleep.
"Why are you avoiding the question?" Bob says crossing his arms and then Robin interferes.
"Dude calm down,"
"Yeah seriously what are you going to do beat me up?" Jack hisses. His words hitting Bob with a smack. Immediately Bob takes a step back.
"No- I would- no," he says his face melting. Soon Mark begins to rub his eyes and sit up straighter.
"What's going on?" He whispers his voice husky. Jack smooths over Marks hairs and whispers in his ear.
"Nothing it's okay,"
"Get out," he says suddenly turning to Bob. His voice stern and his features firm. Bob starts to babble in an attempt to defend himself but Jacks eyes narrow and his fist tighten. He crawls out of the bed and gets so close to Bob face he can feel his fear. He bares his teeth and twists his face isnto somhtng that's nothing less than rabid.
"I said. Get. Out," Jack sneers and for a moment you can feel the air sucked out of the room. A undeniable tension sucking up any ounce of happiness left. Bob opens his mouth but seals it and practically runs from the room leaving everyone else on silence. Jack sits their fuming as he turns to the others.
"Anything else to say?" He says to which they both shake their heads furiously. When Jacks angry it seems even Satan runs for cover.
"Come on Wade," Robin says looking down, "Let's go," Wade looks down and shakes his head before following Robin out. Looking over at them Jack freezes and for once in his life he has no idea what to do next.
