~Daisy's p.o.v~
I walked through school to the libary, skipping over people's extended legs, dodging the punches, dodging the kicks, blocking my ears and humming- Very loudly - Panic at the disco songs. I walked into the libary and ran to my friends. I wrapped my arms around the girls. Cherry and Skylar. The boys, I just smiled at. Daniel and Lewis. Cherry, Skylar and Dan are in the year above me, yet we all act like five year olds most of the time.
We all spent the break time sitting on the floor in a circle. Our conversations went from satanic things (I'm not so emo as them, so I just laughed), then to art, then to food, then to dirty things, then to teasing me and Lewis. Of course, about how much they wanted us to be together. Personally, I didn't want a boyfriend, they're too much of a hassal. I think lewis felt the same about having a girlfriend. And besides, we both didn't want to deal with a heartbreak. After a while we all started singing the song that we had stuck in our head, I write sins not trategies. We ended in a fit of giggles, getting people to give us weird looks like they always do. We really didn't care anymore. It was just a case of what mood we're in. Usually it's me or Daniel getting affected by it, as he was the ultimate emo and I was the ultimate... strange person.
The bell rang at the end of class. It was a tidal wave of people trying to get out. Me and Lewis just stayed back, watching them all go past, not wanting to be in amongst them. We joined at the back of the crowd, holding hands so we wouldn't get lost. After a while of walking, the crowd stopped, and we heard shouting. I tried to jump to see, but, unfortuantely, I'm extremly short. I let go of Lewis's hand and pushed through the crowd, dodging people, to see that gang of bullies beating up some poor kid. I reconised him as Cherry's younger brother. Her quiet, cocky younger brother. All he wants is friends. I ran in between him and Liam's next punch, blocking the bruising, bleeding blondy.
"What do you think your doing, freak?" Liam snickered, grabbing me by the collar and pushing me onto the floor next to the victim.
"Don't you dare lay another finger on Ben, you insensitive prick!!" I scowled at him, and everyone who was watching started teasing me.
"What's him to you then?? Your boyfriend?~" He smirked, punching me straight in the stomach, knocking the wind out of me. I looked up at him, trying to put on my bravest face despite the pain searing my stomach.
"If you don't mind, we'll be going." I stood up, grabbed Ben's cold hand and helped him up, walking through the crowd until I got back to lewis.
"T-Thank you... Nobody ever sticks up for me." Ben smiled slightly, head hanging.
"No problem, and If you ever need me, I'll be there." I gave my sweetest smile and grabbed Lewis's hand. "Well, I got a bus to catch, see you tommorow!" Ben nodded and waved as I began walking off.
