~Daisy's P.O.V~

I walked through the hall, slipping through the doors, trying not to bump into anyone. Trying not to make eye contact. Alas, I failed, well it wasn't my fault... Those stupid people, just walking, not paying attention to this tiny little girl trying her hardest to be nice and not get in peoples way. Honestly... I bumped shoulders with someone, and he turned around to face me.
"Look out where your going, freak!" He snapped.
"S-Sorry!" I stuttered, even though I had already apologized enough times.
"Oh, it's you, Lewis's little love bird." The boy rolled his eyes. I had the words to say, but they were caught in my throat. I felt my hands shake and heat rise on the back of my neck. "What? Not gonna say anything? Wimp." I took a step back, but only walked into another person. That's when I realised people had stopped to watch. I couldn't say anything, that lump risen in my throat. I couldn't cry. Not now. But it was too late, my eyes had blurred. "Aww, is Little Miss Satan Spawn gonna cryy?" The boy cooed, and everyone laughed. I just groaned and ran through the crowd, ignoring my blurry vision and my damp cheeks and fast pulse. I ran and ran until I got outside, into the courtyard. Where I saw Ben, sitting there, the only one outside in this cold winter weather. He perked up and put his notebook down.
"Daisy..." He could tell the horror and trauma on my face, as he stood up, shrugged his rucksack over his shoulder. He walked over to me, and we just stood there, our breath forming little clouds, the wind sending chills up my spine. "What happened?"
"Bullies." I faked my smile, wiping the tears from my eyes, acting like it was no big deal. Ben sighed, being able to see through my lies. Damn he's smart...
"What did they do now?"
"Oh, just ruined my day, like always." I muttered, rolling my eyes dramatically.
"Oh..." He shuffled his feet awkwardly, running his hand through his hair, stopping for a moment to look at me. He smirked. "Why so red?" He teased.
"N-No reason." I said, unable to keep my voice steady. Why does he make me so embarrased...
"Sure?" And he always knows how to give me butterflies...
"Y-Yeah, I'm sure!" And he's always so kind...
"Alright!" And he's always so understanding...
I looked down, my thoughts lost in a mind of their own. I knew he liked me... and to be honest...
No. I don't.
"Well, I have to go meet up with June now, we said we would study together." I smiled. Then hesitated. I mentally smacked myself in the face. The thought of kissing him on the cheek floated past my mind.... No, no way, no, no, I totally don't like him.

"Okay yeah but he is pretty attractive." I agreed, my eyes fixed on a boy with light blonde hair and sweet brown eyes. To be honest, he wasn't my type. He was arrogant and popular. Definately not my type. But then again, I guess he was pretty cute... heck I don't know.
"Mhhmmm~" June replied, her arms crossed over a stack of books with her head resting on top, her dark green eyes looking dreamily at the boy, obviously in a world of her own. "He looks like someone straight out of an anime!" I knew exactly what she meant. Anime boys are flawless in looks, making them attractive. This is very rare in real people... Unfortuantely...
"True, true." I nodded, reluctantly agreeing with her. I guess we were supposed to be studying but... Screw studying, why not stare at cute boys instead? Oh, and there's another cute boy added to the mix... June elbowed me, wiggling her eyebrows and giving me the 'Oooh look who it is' look. I rolled my eyes and took my eyes away from the shy lil blondy, feeling the butterflies swarm around my stomach. I wish I could blow them away, I didn't want them there. Just why...
"Earth to Daisy, stop thinking about 'yer boyfriend." I gasped, then calmed down and gave June my best death glare.
"He's not my boyfriend." I felt a severe feeling of de ja vu. How many times have I had to say that?... Maybe just a few, but still...
"Yet." She held her mouth to her mouth, snorting a few times before bursting out into laughter.
"What's so funny?!" I snapped, but her laugh was so contaigious... I laughed and I laughed, ignoring the stares from the surrounding people. I had never felt this happy... I think it was safe to say that she's my second best friend.~Daisy's P.O.V~
