~Daisy's P.O.V~
I sighed and walked into class. It was Drama with Miss Vivian. I put down my bag and looked around for a place to sit. There's no tables or chairs in Drama, just the floor and a stage. It's always so gloomy in the room, even though it's my second favourite lesson, with plain grey walls and a cream carpet, stained with bluetac and chewing gum. I sat in the darkest corner, took off my hoodie and tied it around my waist. Miss Vivian walked into the class, her long light pink-dyed hair tied into two little bear buns on the top of her head; glasses that covered her light blue eyes. She wore a white jumper and a blue skirt. Me and Lewis would say that she's a pastel-themed person, always wearing the cutest, or 'Kawaii-est', clothing. Always bright pastel colours. Whereas, I am the opposite; With dark hair, dark eyes, always wearing dark clothes. I wasn't a goth though. I don't label myself as anything. I smiled as I saw blondy-mc-blondy-hair walk into the classroom. He put down his back next to mine and ran over to me. Lavender came in next, wearing her cute little dress as always. She was followed by someone else, however. A sort of nerdy-looking girl. She had short hair, a bit shorter than shoulder-length, as black as a crow. She wore a white short-sleeved sort of crop shirt and beige knee-height trousers. She had glasses, neon green ones, that was the only thing that really stood out. I guess, apart from her eyes. They were a dark green, dull and focused. She was pretty cute, in a nerdy way, and in a no homo way.
"Ladies and gentleman, settle down, and Lewis, you really don't need to be that close to your girlfriend." I laughed as Lewis's face turned red and he shuffled away from Megan. Yet I was still jealous. Why did I have to be jealous? "Anyway, we have a new girl joining us from Australia." The girl put down her bag and stood at the front, awkwardly shuffling her feet and looking around the class. I met her strange green eyes and smiled, and she smiled back. "Would you like to introduce yourself?"~June's P.O.V~
I felt my pulse rise. There was so many people. Ah, what if they don't like me?! I'm so scared... I gulped, preparing to introduce myself, trying to swallow down my thick Australian accent.
"I'm June Mitchell, I'm 13 and from Autstalia..." I saw that girl again, the one next to the blonde boy, she smiled at me. It was a sympathy smile. I already liked her. "I like art and music. Oh! and also scary things." I smiled a bit, catching eyes with Lavender. I didn't like her to be honest, she just gave me the chills, she reminded me of a girl's death that I heard on the news. I don't know why...
"Welcome to hell, June!" The dark haired girl shouted, then laughed. Everyone else gave her the 'wtf' look, but she just smirked. I walked over to the corner she was sitting in.
"Mind if I sit here?" I asked, a bit shy, and sat down about a metre away from her.
"course not." The girl smiled and held out her hand. "I'm Daisy Nikton, nice to meet you!" I shook her hand and smiled. The boy, however, just looked away, with a slightly melancoly face. "Oh, don't mind Ben, he's just worried that I'll meet a better friend than him." Daisy rested her head on his shoulder for a moment, and he smiled.
"My apologize, yeah, I'm jealous af." Ben's sweet smile turned into a smirk, and Daisy burst out laughing. For the lesson, we had to make up little performances of meeting some sort of mythical character or creature. It was a project that would go on for who knows how long. We didn't even get to choose our groups! I was put into a group with Daisy and a boy called Lewis. Dais didn't really seem very happy about being in a group with him, however, I couldn't help but notice a tiny bit of red on her pale cheeks. Ooooh, I think she likes him! I'll have to tease her about it later. I can't help but notice the way Lewis has been glaring at her for the entire lesson, like he hates her or something.
"Oh, Lewis, will you stop giving Daisy a look like she's the bloomin' devil!" I had to say something. We were in the middle of writing down the basic story-line and Lewis had not tooken his eyes of the poor girl the entire time.
"She is the bloomin' devil." He said matter-of-factly. Daisy continued writing, though her expression saddened.
"How?" I asked, pushing my glasses up. I was genuinly curious.
"Oh, where do I start?" Lewis rolled his eyes. "She has a crush on me, she's weird, she's crazy, she's actual fucking satan spawn and oh yeah, she's a slut!" Daisy looked up at him with glazed eyes, no look of challenge, just the look of near-tears. Lewis sighed and rested his head on the table (That we had to drag from the nearest classroom)
"Lewis you don't really mean that." I murmered, remembering that girl on the news. Lily Brookwin. If I know correctly, her sister is this boy. Lewis Thawn. I heard it on there, how he was at the scene, against a tree, sobbing his little heart out. He looked up at me with the same near-tears eyes that Daisy had. We didn't speak for the rest of the lesson.
