~Daisy's P.O.V~
It's been a few days since Ben disappeared. June has asked where he is and I just replied with 'He's ill'. He's not, he's gone. And although I have June, I still feel so lonely without him. I'm so worried, anxious, depressed; all these emotions at once. Where is he?... I'm just so worried.I walked into school. The last day of the term. Yay... Before I could walk to my tutor class, I felt somebody grab my arm. I sighed... Please, I don't need this right now!
"Daisy..." I could already feel my heart beat rise. "We need to talk." I turned around to meet the dull green eyes that I see everyday. And behind her...
"Lewis..." I murmered, meeting those dark blue eyes that I somehow fell in love with. He flicked his hair out of his eyes and looked down at the floor.
"Come on." June pulled me over to an abandoned room that only me and a few people are allowed to use. aka the 'im depressed let me in here so i can calm down' room. Lewis followed, making sure to keep his distance from me. We all walked in and switched on the lights. It was a meager scrappy room, but it had to do. The beige wallpaper was peeling off and the carpet was scruffed up. There were two beanbags, ripped open in a few places. June and Lewis sat down on one of the beanbags. Geez... They were decently sized beanbags but still.... They don't care about each other's personal space... No, they can't be... I sat down on the other one.
"Daisy... This is about Ben." I felt anxiety rush around my body. My pulse began to rise and I felt the back of my neck heat up.
"Then why is Lewis here?!£" I snapped out, my voice as shaky as my hands.
"I'm concerned about you." His voice was different. It no longer had that tone that all the popular boys had. No flirty tone, no tone filled with hatred towards the un-popular. It was melancholy, almost deeper. His voice was filled with concern.
"And so am I." June started explaining that over the past couple days, she had talked to lewis. She thought why I was upset was because of him. But it wasn't. She asked me where Ben really was... And all I could respond with was a mix of stuttering and embarrassment.
"Please... Daisy..." Lewis reached out a hand to me and grabbed my shoulder gently. I stared at him for a moment.
"He... He..." I explained what happened. How the tree fell down. How I saw him. How behind him was... That creature. Lewis's hand was on my shoulder the entire time. And when I mentioned the monster... His grip stiffened and his eyes widened.
"That monster. Daisy that monster..." His voice sounded more like his usual one, and he pulled his hand away from my shoulder. "That monster killed Lily." His voice shook a bit... I looked over at June. Her eyes were duller than usual and she seemed to be staring off into space, uninterested... Why? But that confirms it. Static is Lily... Honestly that doesn't make much difference, I knew it already.
Although I decided to keep my mouth shut about it.We chatted a bit more, and then it was time to leave. I carried on with the rest of the day like normal. Slept through class, ignored my peers, try to make as minimum human interaction as I can. On the bus, I was silent. I sat on the top deck at the back, like normal. In the corner, looking out of the window, listening to music. I arrived at the bus stop near the entrance to the forest and began making my way towards my house. I couldn't concentrate on anything. My brain was just... no where. In it's own little melancholy world. I carried on staring at the ground. I carried on despite the sudden cold. I carried on despite the chilling feeling that somebody was watching me. I heard static ringing, a droning noise. I tried to ignore it, but after a while it became too much. I looked up. My blood ran cold and my breath froze in it's place. A few metres in front of me, stood a little girl. Dressed in grey. Glitching like an old, broken computer with a virus. And in her hand was a knife. A bloody knife. The blood was fresh, dripping into a small pool. I tripped over my words, completely frozen.
"S-Static..." As soon as I started speaking, she disappeared. Gone. The only thing left was a bloody knife and a piece of tatty paper. Scared out of my wits, I made my way over to the items. I reached for the knife to move it out of the way, but thanks to my fidgety shaky hands, I traced the side of my finger over the blade. I gasped and held my cut finger close to me. There wasn't a lot of blood, but it still hurt... I looked at the paper. A note.
A not with a word on it.
A word that read:
'Soon'
A/N: I have so many ideas oh my gosh! I have such a great one... All I will say is that there is a character that you cannot trust. OKAY AND I HAVE QUESTIONS FOR THE FUTURE!
1. What should happen between Lewis and Daisy? I have an idea to keep them friends but be really awkward... But I want drama.
2. Should I add a new character? If so, it will probably be a boy. Or maybe should I bring back one of the old characters? I have a small idea for Skylar as she was kind of the rejected one.
