~Daisy's P.O.V~
Me and Ben sat down in the forest clearing, on little logs that had been placed there by campers. He was coming round my house after the incedent in the libary after school earlier that day. However, we decided to do something very stupid. We quickly went inside and got out the oujia board that I had buried deep inside my cuboard. Then, we went back outside, into the forest, with the little girl nowhere in sight.
"So, you ready?" I looked up at Ben who had that perfect Ben Drowned smirk on his face. Ah, he was adorable. I mean what I didn't say anything...Okay yeah he's adorable.
I nodded and got the ouijia board out of my bag, setting it down on a stump. I brought it out of the box, already feeling a chill down my spine. I put the planchet in the middle of the board and shuffled around the stump so my shoulder was touching Ben's. I heard a little gasp and turned around to face him. Sure, out faces were like centimetres from each other, but I could tell him face was bright red. I smirked and we faced the board again. I lay two fingers on the planchet and Ben did the same.
"Is anyone there?" We said in unison. Nothing happened for a while but I felt cold. Colder than the near-winter weather. Slowly, the planchet began to move to 'yes'. I was panicking, my breath quickening and my pulse raising.
"Oh my god oh my god oh my god." Ben murmered as the planchet was on 'yes'. We moved it back to the middle. "Promise you didn't move it?"
"I swear on my life." I nodded, trying to stop my hands from shaking. I took a deep breath in. "What is your name?" I said in a calm voice, not showing any sign of my fear. It went straight to the letter 'S'.
"S-T-A-T-I-C. Static? what the.." Ben murmered. I was panicking so much. Static?...
"Are you the little girl?" I asked in a clear voice. "Are you LB?" I added in a quieter voice. It went straight to yes. The cold was colder now.
"What do you want?" Ben asked, slightly snappy. It made me silently laugh, he was never mad, and when he was, it's just funny.
'F-R-I-E-N-D'
I smiled at that. This little girl just wants friends.
"I'll be your friend then." I said, and Ben gave me a weird look.
"Really Dais?!" He sounded shocked and scared, but I just leant my head on his shoulder for a moment, making his face go back to slightly pink.
'T-H-A-N-K-space-Y-O-U'
I smiled and I swear I caught a glimpse of a little grey girl playing the game with us, moving the planchet.
"We're going to say goodbye now." Ben said without asking me, and he moved the planchet around the board three times before landing it on 'Goodbye'.We lay on my bed and chatted for a while. It had started raining outside.
"So... I have a nosebleed." Ben sighed happily and sat up. His nose had started bleeding again.
"Oh, you silly little.." I stopped myself there and added 'cutie' under my breath. I think he heard me. I know he heard me, as his face turned fifty shades of red.
"I know, I'm kawaii as fuck." He made a cute face, and I got butterflies and felt the sneaky blush creep onto my face.
"Yeah, yeah." I grabbed a tissue off my bedside table and held it out to him. He grabbed it and dabbed at his bleeding nose.
"Thank you." He murmered, and at that moment, a loud crash came from outside. I yelped and grabbed onto Ben. He stiffened and looked at me. "What the?!"
"It scared me!" I burried my head into his shoulder as a flash of light filled the room.
"Oh my gosh." He was trying not to laugh. "Daisy Nikton is scared of storms!" He burst out laughing and I let go of him, crossing my arms and pouting.
£"N-No I'm n-" There was another loud crash and I screamed.
"Aww! You aaree!" He said with a teasing tone in his voice that made blush creep onto my face again.
"I'm not!" I said as another crash sounded. I didn't scream, instead I shuffled closer to Ben.
"Fine." He smirked. A flash of light illuminated the room for a split second, and behind him I saw the little girl, little LB. My friend. I saw her making a little heart with her hands. I giggled. "What's funny?"
"Oh, sorry, I just saw my friend. Static." I smiled at him, and he smiled back.
"If she's your friend, then she's my friend as well."
