~Daisy's P.O.V~

Why did Lewis have to be so mean? His words ran round my head the entire walk home. Slut? Me? How am i a slut?! What, because I have a crush on two people? I mean.. I don't... I don't have a crush on Ben. I dont have a crush on Lewis. I keep telling myself that, but those pink little butterflies say otherwise. All I know is that im like a puppet to him. He controls me, plays with my emotions. He's terrible. Why do I still like him? I shuffled down my slightly snowy path, through the gate and onto the porch. I felt cold. Colder than usual. An unsettling feeling shivered down my spine as i put my hand on the door handle. I turned it slowly. The door opened with a creak. And the sight i saw made me drop my bag in general shock. The wallpaper on one side was wripped, as if some creature with long sharp nails cut into it, mangling it in rage. The tap was on, but it wasnt water that shot out. It was a thick liquid. Crimson red, overflowing the sink and flooding onto the floor. It made me gag. That much blood... A messaged had been written on the floor with the same crimson liquid.

'its time to play'

I held in my screams, my breath caught in my throat. My pulse was high with adrenalin. I picked up my bag and stepped inside. The door slammed behind me, making me nearly jump out of my skin. I panted and put my red raincoat on the hanger. I was so scared... I closed my eyes tight and ran upstairs, into my room, and shut the door behind me. I opened my eyes and locked it. I just stood there, back against the door, staring at my normal room. My normal room with the wooden floor, the cracked walls, the old creaky bed with black bed covers on top. Just when I thought that I was hallucinating, that everything would be fine, I heard a voice in my ear.

"Let's play a game."

it was a clear whisper. Yet i reconised it... Before I had the time to figure it out, the windows slammed shut and the curtains pulled closed, blocking out any light. Leaving me in complete blackness.

"its called hide and seek." I shook my head, my knees buckling beneath me, saying 'im not playing with you' over and over and over. Throughout my panic, i pulled my phone out of my pocket. It already illuminated the room a bit, but i flicked on the flashlight app. I saw her. I saw lily. Lewis's sister. I smiled and felt tears come to my eyes. I was so relieved. Shes alive! She's alive! She didnt die! I ran over to her and hugged her. Tears streamed down my face.

"Lily, lily! I missed you so much!" I was laughing now, so filled with joy that I didnt think much of the black liquid dripping onto the floor. I looked up at lily. And what looked back at me...

it wasn't lily
